  • What's the point of WiFi 6E if there's no wired 2.5 GB port?

    • And I assume a lot of devices are only support up to wifi 6

      • Any wifi router that supposedly supports 5gbps WiFi should have at least one 2.5 Gbps LAN port. They're admitting that you can't expect any real world performance over 1 gbps

  • I bought the AX72 last week

    Is the WiFi6E AXE75 worth $100 more than the WiFi6 AX72 ?

    • The Ax72 has a dual core CPU while this has a quad core.

The WiFi 6E allows use of the 6Ghz band that is much less congested so in theory should be faster.

I have the Australian AX73 which is similar to the Ax72 except it has a Tri-core CPU. It is great and the best router we have ever had.

I really doubt you will notice a difference between any of the three during real world use.

So in short probably not worth the extra $100.

    • Yes. If you're planning to have a mesh setup.
Biggest difference bw them, AX72 is dual-band vs tri-band on this AX75. That means you gonna have a third dedicated backhaul radio band for a fully mesh wireless setup.

UK models have limited 5G channels in comparison to Australian models. It’s not worth it.

    • This is the main reason for not touching any UK amazon router deal.

Why does it matter, pick a free channel, works fine for me so far?

      • So long as all your neighbours arn't tightarses you should be golden .

    • works 100% fine no issues here in AU

  • Any good NBN router around $150 mark?

In my opinion you may take a look at Tenda TX9 pro or TP-Link Archer AX55.
