Coles Homebrand Facial Tissues 224 Pack $1.30 @ Coles

360

One of the only supermarkets now which is still offering tissues @$1.30 a box.

I tried to buy some today, seems to be no restriction of limit of 2 / customer.

Everywhere else these are $1.70 (woolies, rejectshop, aldi and so on)

Yea its not something like a crazzy special. But with tough times, every little bit helps.

And some people like me would just think that standard items are @ same price (milk, bread, plastic bags, and TISSUES etc across major supermarkets)

I am not sure how long the coles would keep this at this price, but Better be safe than sorry and stock up a few extra boxes while still cheap.

damm! they used to be around 90 cents

    • Yup those were good times
But at least right now it is not $1.70 like other supermarkets.

Muffins have gone up quite a lot too

      • Tissues are always out of stock at my local Coles and I just finished my bamboo ones from chemist warehouse so rip me

crowd fund and start our own company? all of this crap is getting out of hand.

        • I do thank Coles and Woolworths for price locking a number of essential items. May be there needs to be an Australian version of Mr Beast.

            @USER DC:

I do thank Coles and Woolworths for price locking a number of essential items.

They jacked the price up, then "price locked". Just eBay style marketing fluff, except it's not then put on sale.

there needs to be an Australian version of Mr Beast.

Alan Jones already has that covered.

90c tissue boxes at local Asian variety stores but quality what you pay for. I miss $1 quilton from 3 years ago…

    • Some are actually made in Aus suprisingly

      • They all are

      • These are packed in Australia from imported ingredients. In other words China. Spend your money on local products when available.

  • Aldi is selling at $1.65-$1.69(forgot the exact price) per box

Company who offers best pricing, and offers should deserve most customer business (Coles in this case)

  • With the price and availability of dunny rolls these days, might have to wipe your arse on these too

    • I do sometimes now think of like Koreans/asians recommendation in a youtube video (of starting to use toilet paper as tissues).

  • Allergy-family thanks you !

Hayfever + unknown virus/cold has me going through half a box a day. Thanks OP. Anyone here try taking a hayfever injection?

    • +1

Yeah I know someone who takes it regularly, either every month or 2 months IIRC, helps her immensely. She has it pretty bad otherwise.

      • I took it a few years ago & it helped greatly, better than any hayfever tablet + nasal spray combo, but I am curious about the long-term effects. Hayfever demolishes me every year :/

    • This year seems really bad.
