Why did they release a new 60Hz, USB2.0 HDMI 2.0 TV in July this year?

    • Costssssssss

  • Nah.

Same specs you'll find on any cheapo QLED from Aldi, Big W, etc.

  • So what does everyone think? I'm on the hunt for a 65" at around this price point with zippy software being important. This looks pretty good.

Be ok as a bedroom tv but unlikely to be the showcase of your home theatre setup.

if you want zippy software, plug in a fire/google tv stick.

Configure the remote so that it turns on the tv

Purchase & trial while keeping the packaging, return if no good. In the end a dedicated media device would be the best option for "zippy". Consider the TV as just a monitor in that regard. I've got an Eko 50in for the bedroom & it's fine, BT remote can be a lil buggy now & again, that aside the picture & sound is good for the price & its' application. For the lounge we have a Sony X90 65in.

I won't suggest this, Better to get a Google TV, rather than this old Android TV, you won't get any more software support.

    • If zippy software is important you are best off getting an Apple TV, chrome cast or fire stick.

  • Thanks OP. Was looking for a reasonably priced 65" , ordered.

    60Hz TV and Android ?
Its been a while since Google moved away from Android TV's to Google TV, so I think they won't be getting any new software versions.
Better to go for Google TV versions.
