      Aldi one has the added benefit of being almost twice the size of this one. This is 2.2L and Aldi one is 3.6.L. Honestly not sure what you'd cook in this one, pretty small.

      My Aldi dutch oven is going strong after 3 years. I got a Staub 28cm only because I wanted a bigger one, would have gotten Aldi again if they made them bigger.

      My Aldi one chipped in a lot of the places over the years and it's not easy to clean. Will see how this one holds.

        Never had a problem cleaning the Aldi one it just stains more easily, Staub doesn't have that issue because it's black.

    I have both Aldi and Staub at home.
    Comparing the Staub one, I find the Aldi one harder to clean and the lid cannot seal it properly so the moisture would evaporate out.
    Whether the Staub one worth the extra $200 is a hard call, depends on your usage. But its quality is definitely better than the Aldi one.
