iPhone 13 Mini 512GB (Midnight, Starlight, Pink, Red, Blue, Green) $1329.99 Delivered @ Costco (Membership Required)

190

This is the cheapest price I've ever seen them. JB Hifi and Apple currently has it for $1,569. Centre Com has it for $1,515. I've contacted JB HiFi and they said they can't price match with Costco because Costco requires a subscription. It's a shame because I have JB HiFi gift vouchers to use up.

Costco subscription is $60 annually.

Having said that, you can cancel the membership and get refund at anytime.

  • Geez, even though i'm an apple fanboy this is poor specs for this price outright.

I'd never pay this much for a phone of this specs

    • +7

You can get it for $1049 from the apple store with 128GB. That's plenty. No reason to get 512GB unless you plan to shoot heaps of videos and never download them to your computer.

"poor specs" compared to what? :)

      • +2

Probably comparing with phones with 16/32/64/128/256…. Gigs of RAM (and still struggles to run the infamous resource hungry OS). 🤷‍♂️

    • +2

What specs are you concerned about?

    • +3

I'm not sure which specs you're concerned with? Everything here is very comparable to the newly released iPhone 14 (same SoC*). If you're worried about battery life, the 13 mini does much better than 12 mini with full-day mixed usage battery. Otherwise, what's wrong here?
IPhone's are hella expensive, but this does wipe the floor with everything cheaper (especially in this size).
*I think iPhone 14 has more GPU cores, but otherwise same SoC. Likely to get 4-6 years support given Apple's current support.

[Amazon] (https://www.amazon.com.au/Apple-iPhone-mini-512GB-Starlight/…) selling for $1333.00. No membership required.

JB HiFi live chat were happy to Price Match to Centre Com for $1,515 delivered. I'd personally trust JB HiFi stock over Amazon stock. I have read a Reddit post saying that Amazon stock isn't always genuine as they have mixed inventory. Not sure if true but here's the post:

It's pretty easy to tell if you get a 'non-genuine' iPhone, and you can just return it. Regardless you can just pricematch with JB.

      • +1

You won't get a fake product buying an item listed as sold by Amazon AU.

    • Thank you. Unfortunately that Amazon deal seems to be finished now, it's back to $1,449-1,499. Hopefully the price goes back down so I can price match and use up my JB hifi vouchers

Some people like the Mini and they aren’t making a mini version of the 14. Personally I like the bigger screens and my XS will last for a few more years.

    • +3

The mini appeals to me because the first (and last) iPhone I owned was the iPhone 4 and I miss its compact size. By the way I was so confused when my friend showed me his iPhone XS. I was expecting something compact. It seemed the XS is short for eXtra Sizey.

      • The XS is about the right size for me. However, I hardly use my phone. It is more a support system for my watch and iPad.

      • +2

The mini is perfect for me. I don't want a bulky item in my pockets. I own an iPhone 12 mini and was sad they stopped at the 14. It's hardly worth it for me to upgrade to a 13 :-(

      • lol! Freaking Apple. XS is unanciated as Ten S

  • +1

    that's a massive MINI….

    • Thats what she said

  • I’m still waiting for my iPhone 13 mini to be delivered by Amazon n i have been waiting almost for a month so far.

Lol at this price should be the Pro or Pro max at least!

The average life of an iPhone is 2-3 years. If you intend to use iPhone 13mini for 2 years, you can use 14 for 3 years. 13mini: 1330/2=665 per year, but iPhone 14 512g: 1899/3=633 per year. The 14 is cheaper actually. If you tend to use 13mini for more than 3 years, this deal could be considered.

I keep my iPhone until they refuse to upgrade the iOS anymore.

My 2016 iPhone 6S was fully supported until this years iOS release… What the heck are you talking about?

    • +2

I am still happily using my iPhone 6s from 2016

    • +1

Not at all correct, iPhones often get software updates for 5 or more years after release, but thanks for posting
