NZXT Kraken Z63 AIO Liquid CPU Cooler 280mm $275 + Delivery @ NZXT

100

Kraken Z63 for $275 (RRP $399)
Kraken Z63 RGB for $299 (RRP $429)

It's been quite a few months since the Z63 was discounted anywhere, so if you've been considering this model for the very nice LED screen, it's not a bad time to get it. Delivery is however a painful $26 to Melbourne.
NZXT also has some sales on site-wide, although nothing much notable aside from these and the now-OOS monitor deal posted earlier.

Edit: It's not the RGB version, I feel a little better.

    Your mum's a Kraken!

Edit: Sorry - that was uncalled for. Forgiveness, please. Great deal, OP…

  • $275 + $26 shipping to Metro Melbourne, is that worth?

Shipping is way too much imo and its a bit too expensive. Unless ur going for an extremely high build then it's not worth it, If u don't mind trying a less popular brand, u can get this AIO EKWB 280MM for much cheaper at just $139, plus its got a solid reputation so far.

  • Why is the z53 more expensive than the z63?!!

    • Came in to say this. I need the 240mm!

  • I have a z73 on my gaming PC and although my CPU never gets overly hot, the radiator fans are ridiculously loud. I'm contemplating ripping them out and dumping some cash on some noctua fans just to shut it up.

    • Just try to turn off PBO if you are on Ryzen. Its damn quiet but not loosing much on the performance.

      • I keep the pump running on full and unless I'm gaming, I keep the fans on silent. It's when I'm gaming & the fans are required to spin up that's the problem.

I just figured that since I've replaced all the fans in my main ender printer & my Plex PC with noctua, I may as well keep the theme going.

        • Are you with Intel or Ryzen?
I'm with Ryzen 5900x and I was with Z73 and all other AIOs but now I'm with Noctua NH-U12A air cooler but I set my CPU PBO off (auto booster).
which makes my CPU clock do not jump like crazy dog.
Also set the FAN speed to silent so it keeps fan noise quiet even when I play games but also keeps my CPU temp under 65c. On idle, it was 32c

  • Used to have one of these, awful cooler in term of cooling performance. Can't keep my Ryzen 5800x cool.

I've got a Ryzen 5600X and the highest temp I've seen it reach with this cooler is 50 and that was when I was stress testing it.

      • 5800x is much much hotter cpu to cool.

        • No doubt. Happily the 5600x works quite well for me.

  • ok just a question that i cant quite figure out, will this keep a ryzen 7 7700x cool?
