Got these last time, don't recommend honestly. It's marginally more comfortable than a Bunnings camping chair, but it's MASSIVE while folded and takes up huge amounts of space, like literally 3 folded up Bunnings camping chairs volume. Took it camping once and never again.
Anyone got suggestions for a good foldable chair for beach? I can imagine sand is just going to get all up in these joints and bits will start rusting out pretty quick.

This is super light, they weigh about 1kgs, and super portable, but prob not super comfy.

Looking for something compact as well but not so expensive. Have similar camp chairs which were bought primarily for comfort but they take up too much of the boot space.
Cheap and reasonably compact you probably just have to use the $10 fold out ones. Small-ish but not very comfortable.
I have tried helinox chairs and the knock-offs but they honestly suck compared to the frontrunner. Haven't found something similar to the frontrunner design for a cheaper price unfortunately.

Really comfy chair. If space is not an issue, definitely recommend. Match it with blanket and you can spend entire day in it.
Good if you have space for it which is usually not the case when you go camping.
