Check your email for signup link

    fat chance of receiving that…

  • Just got this too. Nice

  • Thanks OP, was just about to post this. Citi Premier f&f card is a close runner up to the GOAT - 28 Degrees with price protection enabled.

      except no google pay sucks!

      • +8

Citi credit cards are now supported on Google Pay

  • Dunno which one to choose $15 credit OR 3 months free membership. My yearly membership is expiring within a few months

    • +1

      3 months prime definitely

      because
      3 months prime cost = 3 * $6.99 ~ $21
      whereas
$15 credit cannot be used on all items (especially not on warehouse deals), voids any Cashbacks.

      • +1

If we calculate from annual membership of $59 : 12 months = $4.92/month. Times 3 = $14.74. I will wait until mine finish then use it for 3 months free then purchase 12 months membership. Finger cross they don't increase the yearly membership within 4-5 months time.

      • +1

It is a $15 gift card balance, gift card balance can be used to purchase anything except an Amazon giftcard.

        • The link suggested it as a $15 Credit, so I assumed $15 AMAZON promotional Credit,

If its a $15 amazon gift card then definitely it'd be a better option, (as to stack with multiple amazon account trials)

          • +1

@USER DC: it says Mastercard have given you a $15 giftcard.

            • @dasher86: Yup you are right, I think I might relying on past similar posts that suggested $15 Credit.

But still cannot stack this $15 GC with other amazon account (to stack with free trials)

          • @USER DC: I am pretty sure it is a $15 gift card BALANCE, not a $15 gift card. So you can't pool them to use in a single account. It just gets added in your account and if you are lucky you might be able to cash it out by buying some 3rd party gift cards.

    • I'd take the $15 credit - likely to have less issues than with trying to cancel the membership later on (I believe the prime subscription is not managed through amazon).

  • Use this to watch LOTR rings of power.

    You’ll love it!! 🫠😷💀😥

    • +1

Great! Thanks to your emojis you've spoiled the whole show just when I was about to watch it, I hope you're happy ;)

      • The books + three movies + three more didn’t give it away for you?!

        • What about the game? I think that is a bit more connected to the show, giving that what's his face is in both.

          • @RedditUser2: Nice catch, I think if you've watch, read and played any of these things you'll know what the show will offer. But heads up, it's bad!

            • @checkingthisout: yeah only watching as it's one of those must watch things..

              • @Davbar24: It takes everything you know and cheapens it. Removes the class inTolkien’s writing. Wait till episode 8 or whatever the last one is to go. “Ok what?!”

That said. Got prime for free so not a true loss.

  • Damn I was about to post this. Received $15. Nice

"Sorry, you have exceeded the maximum quantity of 1 allowed for this product"

Wth, i never did this one before?

    • +1

I got same error. I had used my Coles Mastercard previously for the same deal few months ago

      • Same for me.

    • +1

Did you use your Westpac card?

  • thanks!!! jsut got my email too, was going to discard it without reading thinking its only for new prime memberships!

  • I got the email, but it keeps failing when trying to verify.

  • Great thx, I didn't get the email but checked on the site and was eligible, so awesome got $15…

  • +1

    Just closed my CITI

    Damn

    • Same. Closed yesterday >.<

  • Thanks!

  • Great little offer from Citi

  • -4

Got the email but didn’t proceed when it asked me for my credit card details. Phoned up Citibank and they said it was spam. Deleted email.

    • What? Really?

      • -2

That’s what I was told. Not sure why I’ve been negged for that??

Have given it a go and it did indeed work :-)

    • +1

"mastercard.com" didn't seem legit to you?

  • Awesome. Three months of free Prime! Thanks.

  • got this with citibank, great offer. free $15 spend

  • Just got the same for me, but for my citi rewards card (non premier).

  • +2

A nice change to see an offer that doesn't exclude existing subscribers. Cheers

  • Is this the 0 annual fee Citi cc?

  • Didn't get the email but eligible for the $15 Amazon credit through the steps. 👍

  • My Citibank card was already the default payment, re-adding the same card seems to work.

    • It didn't work for me. Says card had already been used to claim prime membership

  • Received this email too. Citi Rewards Credit Card

  • Just got the email.
Already pay for and happy to keep paying for annual Amazon Prime. Quickly browsed the email, but it was this post that highlighted the $15 credit.
Thanks, I'll take that no matter if it's just credit for Amazon only stock, or $15 credit off monthly CC charge ATM.

  • Thanks! Didn't get an email, but checked eligibility and I was eligible. Followed the link, added card and received $15 credit to my existing Prime account.

  • +1

too bad my citi premier is still visa until expiry end of this year, then they said they will replace with mastercard. Hope they'll have similar offer later.

    • +3

Terms say - must be activated by Oct 2023, so go to the link once you get your replacement mastercard.

      • ah yes you're right, thanks I'll give it a go in a few months time :)

  • Thanks heaps! $15 in the account.

  • Got same on Emirates Citi World Mastercard.

  • Didn't get the email either as it's a new card but was eligible. Thanks OP!

  • Damn, my parents have these but they are overseas, gotta set a reminder

    • Don't worry, you have until Oct 2023.

  • +2

Got the email but unable to check eligibility
it prompted "Something went wrong. This page has timed out. Please start again from your original link."

    • Same
Happened to me twice. Clicked through from email again and no issues….

      Try again

      • Tried 5 times clicking from email, still showing the same error :(

  • +2

This is not just for citi premier card. It is for premier, rewards, presitige and emirates world as per the link. The title should be fixed.

    • +1

Except not all cards are mastercard

  • I got the email today. However when I tried to activate, it returned an error, saying the maximum of 1 has been exceeded. Why?
    How to rectify?
    Thank you.

  • Got the email tried it, says "Sorry, you have exceeded the maximum quantity of 1 allowed for this product" :(

Wonder if it's because of this https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/721555

    • Nope. Try again. Click through from email again.

      Had same happen to me

  • +1

Thanks. Got the email and the $15 credit. Citi card (and free for life) is the card that just keeps giving!

    • Free for life?

I've just signed up and very recently activated the 60k Velocity regards platinum card.

      • There was a different free-for-life one some people got ages ago. For some reason they rave about it.

        • +1

Normally $300 a year so we rave away

          • +1

@rickb: Yes. Free for life. My best credit card. Next one is the Amex essential.

Just checked email. Got this offer too.

            Thanks.

        • The Citibank signature
Applied back in 2014 still free as of today

Also free Priority Pass entries x 2 annually

      • CITI Free for life customer here too
Also 3 x Free for life Gold Amex and 1x essential

        • Free for life customer here as well… Unfortunately I got Visa Platinum rewards card

  • I keep getting "This page has timed out. Please start again from your original link."

  • My card was approved then went to sign into my Amazon account and said 'this account is not eligible'

    • Same :( I might have claimed something similar in the past.

  • Struggled with Amazon prime when I had a year free from Optus, can't find anything decent to watch

    • +4

I think you got it wrong, most people subscribe to Prime for shopping and free/fast delivery.

Prime Video is just a bonus.

      • And more than happy to pay annual fee, yearly

      • Someone else watches my Prime Video, I use a sketchy streaming service which has everything. Order stuff with free next day delivery pretty regularly though, have a few other people using my account for shopping too.

      • Bought a few things off Prime but I buy most of my stuff off AliExpress.

  • Thanks. Worked for me

  • +2

Sorry, you have exceeded the maximum quantity of 1 allowed for this product

    Whats this about

  • Avoid using this credit for any sort of cashback promo with Cashrewards and Shopback. It tends to make your purchase illegible.

That is, if you are buying from the non 0% category to begin with

  • got it with citi silver premier card.

    Thanks OP!

  • Good post, give that man a beer.

    • Or a women?

  • Tried my luck and got 3 months free. Thanks 🙏

  • So only 1 $15 credit per Amazon acc? If we pay 1 month Prime and then get the $15 will end up being $8 ahead 🤔 think my parents have 4 of these between them

  • would this be available to new holders signing up?

  • Not working a Ross multiple browsers

    Something went wrong
This page has timed out. Please start again from your original link.

    • I get the same error message :(

  • -1

Thanks OP for reminding me to shift money away from Citi and enjoy better interest elsewhere.
