Cookware sets are a scam, just buy the pieces you need, guarantee it's less than 13.
Its actuallt only 5 pans, the rest of the pieces are the detachable handles and lids.
Three saucepans and two frying pans, to be more specific. The saucepans are stainless steel, the frying pans are teflon coated on the inside.
I regularly use 3 pans, one nesting collender, and one lid.
frying pan (deep sides), stock/pasta/steaming pot (with lid, and nesting collender), saucepan for sauces.
5 pieces total, don't have much room for much else in my kitchen, have never been wanting an additional pan. That's me though, if you need these exact 13 pieces, then it's a good deal.
Has been as low as $150 for anyone interested.

I can't think why you'd want the inconvenience of detachable handles at home, or that many pans in a caravan/motorhome (where you might like the space saving).
would be stacking nicely on inner shelf instead of having to hang it, doesn't take as much space in dishwasher with the handle hitting everything,
you can put the pan only inside the oven without getting the handle hot or melt the handle if it was plastic instead of stainless steel,So far win win for me
Because they're really space efficient to store. They are great in an apartment without a huge amount of storage, and they're not the least bit inconvenient in a townhouse.
Detachable handle makes them easier to clean, store and even use - just clip it off and it's out of the way
We use these in our camper. They pack away earlier in the small cupboard not having the handles. Also the non stick saves water when washing up. I recommend them.
I'm thinking about buying these for my wife, but she's a teflon fan. Are the stainless steel parts non stick as well?
ThanksNot really it's the same as any other stainless. We use the high sided wok-like pan as a pot when we need a non stick pot.
Not a great price, has been a lot cheaper in the past. Usually Black Friday sales have better pricing!
