Thanks, pity the code only allows you to buy one.

Going to sell out in 5mins I think.

    • Yep 2nd purchase will only get you $2.55 off. Huge thanks to op for the post, purchased one.

      • Yes, was only 4 sold when I bought, now its up to 84

        • +1

Now sold close to 1600, Ozbargainers rise up!

  • Thanks, grabbed one

  • Fantastic! Thanks OP!

  • Thank you, got one!!!

  • Cheers got one

    27% saturated fat

    • +3

Well yeah it's an Atkins bar. It's not an accident.

      • -5

Dr. Atkins was obese when he died.

        • -1

Yeah, right. Grizzly Adam’s had a beard.

          • +1

@JelIyfish: His official death certificate from the New York City Medical Examiner's Office states he was 117kg, which is clinically obese for a 6 foot tall man. And the notes listed a history of serious heart problems including myocardial infarction (a heart attack), congestive heart failure, and hypertension.

    • thnx daddy

  • +5

Amazing price, buy now think later

Oh god, 4g protein and 9.5g of fat per bar lmao. How are these normally $3.30 each at Woolies

  • +8

This takes like artificial sweetener to me… the taste lingers in your mouth long after eating. I didn't like them.

    • +1

So I hope you left them for those who do like them…😀

      • I mean.. at this price… I still bought six ;) /s

    • +1

What did you expect with only 4.3g of (non-artificial) sugar per 100g? They have got to sweeten it artificially to make it palatable.

    • Is there a similar product you would recommend then?

      • Not for that price…I get the Carmens Low Carb Bars from Coles or Wollies but they are not cheap…nothing low carb is cheap to be honest but if you cut down Carbs you lose weight quickly if that is the aim.

  • +1

for 5 bucks cant go wrong. Thanks OP snagged a box

  • +2

Thanks OP, Got one. For this price they must be Short dated like crazy

    • +3

Shows BB lower down on the listing - 10/12/22

  • +2

Buy first, check later, before it sells out…

I'd rather have a Mars Bar. These aren't exactly healthy.

    • +12

For those who think these are healthy. Per gram these have more calories than a Mars Bar, and all you get from is half an egg worth of protein.

    • +2

I don't think anyone is arguing they are healthy per se. If you are on a keto diet, this is what you might snack on.

      • "Treat yourself to this guilt-free indulgence with only 1.5 grams of carbs per bar" - Calories are calories.

        • +1

This is Ozbargain, where Cola drinks, Burgers, Pizzas and free Bin stickers rule…..

          • -6

@RockyRaccoon: Very very true. I just feel like if you're consuming this many calories you might as well go for the real thing. Fat is no better than sugar in excess.

            • +1

@filmer: These are made for people on a very specific diet, they aren't made for the average person who just wants to swap out their daily Mars bar for a healthy option. The people who eat these know how much sugar and calories they have in a day.

I have been on keto for two years which has done absolute wonders for my weight and overall health and I have one of these as my desert every day. It makes sticking to it much easier. A single real mars bar has more carbs than I have in three days.

              • @Jamie007: Keto works because it restricts an entire food group so it restricts your calories by nature.

In this case, the two items have the same calories so there is no difference.

              • @Jamie007: No need to be on a KETO diet, if you eat healthy and just cut out the sugar and reduce carbs/processed foods you will be just as healthy… more eggs and grass fed beef.. avo's, bananas, pineapple, pawpaw and honey… some veggies for fiber like sweet potato and pumpkin … KETO is not a good long term diet.. it will take years off your life at old age

                • @vid_ghost: Not everybodys body works the same way. Think I'm going to take my doctors advice on this one over the Ozbargain forum, who after my recent full medical and bloodworks said everything was looking great and to keep with it.

                  • @Jamie007: When young the body can adapt to stay alive on any diet and reduced calories lower body fat will produce good blood tests… carbs and junk are higher in calories vs energy from fat .. fat also providing reduced inflamation issues.. the issue is fat is harder on your body to process. Look up keto long term health effects.. simply reducing calories and eating clean can have the same effect but without the long term issues. Clean meats like grass fed beef and freerange eggs. Butter, Fruits.. no seed oils :) sugar and carbs from nature like honey and fruits are not bad.. its just people eat way to much and mostley the processed types. Simple carbs that spike the blood ext.

I don't really like bin stickers, they taste like trash.

  • Thanks. Got a box

  • Great find OP. Look forward to trying :)

  • +2

Had these before. From the pictures and the description you'd assume they would be like a Crunchie or a Violet Crumble. They are nothing like them. Very dense.

  • Cheers OP, for $5 worth a try

  • +2

      • +2

      • I should have figured that out, myself !

Thanks for pointing it out :-)

  • Thanks OP, bought two of em

@ this price $5 for 15, or 3 for $1 works out cheaper than other muesli bars in supermarket

    • +1

      bought two of em

You are paying for two different eBay Plus accounts?

      • +1

        They pay you

        • +1

Yup only in form of eBay credit/voucher though

          • @USER DC: Are they still sending you monthly codes for $5 discount for $15 min. spend on both accounts?
Mine has stopped again. So annoying!

            • +1

@DoctorCalculon: They stopped on one, (For a while)
My guess is because I used a lot on that account. So they might be capping that $5 coupon a no. of times.

After a certain amount of time, they did bring it back though

  • +1

    Bought it… But why? … FOMO…

    • Can always return em
