Makita 18V 5Ah Lithium Ion Battery with Gauge $99 + Delivery ($0 Click & Collect/ in-Store) @ Bunnings

Bunnings seems to price matched the 5ah battery with Total Kit Depot, if you're in need of some new batteries go and grab them before they go back to normal price.

Thanks to @cycloneaussie for providing the stock checker.

"Total Kit Depo" - you mean Tool Kit Depot….also owned by Bunnings btw.

    • My bad - fixed the typo.

  • I bought two from O'conner WA. No more.

Cool site didn't know that existed. Shame it's not the 6Ah batteries

      • They should be $149

  • Looks exxy.

It's Makita, the good stuff. Unlike Ozito.

Same price in Sydney Tools for now, with free delivery

  • I got lucky earlier in the month. I got Bunnings to price match Sydney Tools at the beginning of October when they came down to $99. Bought two for $90 each.

Thanks Missed out on the last one

    • Me too :-) Was waiting to get in-store to use gift card. Didn't realise the price would last just one day. Got it now.

  • Sydney tools is offering same pricepoint

  • Did anyone else get one?

I was surprised that out of the box mine had a charge level of only 1 bar out of 4. I thought Makita would supply them with more to avoid the risk of having a completely self-discharged battery sitting on the shelf doing damage to the cells. Or, if Makita supplies them with more, this must have been old stock…

Hence the question: what charge level did you get?

      Same 1 bar
