  • "Looks like that's the wrong code, please double check and try again"

    • Double checked - it's the right code. Not sure why it is saying that

    • I'm holding off moving back to Boost until they get overseas roaming. Anybody got any idea when Boost will re-introduce overseas roaming?

Any deals for the $300 sim?

  • Whats the cheap strategy after 12 months to stay with Boost? My 12 month plan is expiring soon and wanting to move from the 300gb plan to 140gb…

Grab one of the above sim (for <$200) and contact Boost support to get new sim activated temporarily and then get your existing number ported to the new sim.

    • Either buy the new sim, activate through customer support then transfer your number over (this can be annoying to do depending on the customer service rep you get) or buy a cheap 1 month sim with another provider, port out & port back in. Kogan have the cheapest ones going right now if you have a unidays account. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/721380

      • Can you just buy a $2 Telstra SIM and port out to that, or does it need to be Optus/Voda (or one of their MVNO) ? I have a $2 Telstra SIM in a drawer here…

        • As far as I know you need to put credit on a telstra sim to activate it now. They are all pretty much like that now. Just the sim with no credit wont work.

Kogan is the cheapest if you can wait for delivery. If you need it fast coles or woolworths usually has a lebara/amaysim/whatever sim on promo for $4-6. Or there is the ALDI PAYG $5 sim if its still around.

          • @mitt: As for it being the same network, porting between telstra/boost was a nightmare last time I did it but that was ages ago. I have heard some say its better now but I wouldn't risk it again.

  • Does boost data rollover on the 12 month recharges?
