restricted to uni students and their parents, or teachers/staff at any education level.

        • Don't know if it just me…I don't have any connections with uni students and their parents, or teachers/staff at any education level.

          • @wt860: and you were successful to purchase at education level? Do you have an .edu email?

            • @UFO: No, just curious how these people can access to edu price so easily

              • @wt860: friends with uni age children, also some places now let you keep your uni email.

@UFO: I bought an M1 Max MBP earlier this year using edu store and gift cards. No edu email here.

    • Can you use gift cards on the education store? Cause Macquarie has 5%, would make it a decent deal

      • Yes, it is possible
Missus just bought one iPad from Edi store using gift cards from macquarie

        • Yesterday I placed order for 5th gen iPad Pro 12.9 and Apple Pencil from edu store. Paid $1200 by gift card and rest card payment. Today I got an email Apple gift payment can’t be verified. I called them to find out reason, sales person emailed backend , with 1 hr it’s sorted. Yeah it was but stressful for awhile

          • @georgev: Eeeeeks should have ordered the 6th Gen!

@ezza: My bad it’s 2022 model , pre order. 5th gen not available to purchase Apple Store

$1295 here on ebay from iitsupport store with code SNSOCT

    • Good price however be aware of their note "30 Days Change of mind policy does not apply to this item due to popular item. ". I don't believe this clause is legal if they are a proper store issuing Tax invoice (as per their page, Tax invoice is only provided if requested separately, after 48 to 72 hours of delivery).

      • Understand but would you need a 30 day change of mind policy.
Understand eBay plus items have this in place agree.
You'd know what you are buying here technically.

        • My concern here is the dodgy practices that some of these stores have. If I was to ever have a problem in future where I need assistance from the store then I wouldn't trust them. Whether this saving is worth that hassle is up to the person deciding to buy from them.

          • @ozioziozi: Just take the product to Apple if you had an issue - they have suburb after care support regardless of where you purchased a product from.

      • +2

Why on earth do you think you are entitled to a change of mind refund?

  • Outrage what Apple charges for 1TB , all I want is an iPad media player for Travel

      Usb C storage device?

  • Are iDevices purchased from costco eligible for tax refund at custom?

    • If you can get them to put your name on the invoice yes.

  • Description says M2 chip, wouldn't this mean that it's 6th Gen?

The new iPad Pros are - 6th gen for the iPad Pro 12.9'… 4th gen for the iPad Pro 11'
Assuming the numbering of gen's is like this as the smaller iPad Pro came out as 9.7' and then 10.5' then moved to 11' as 1st gen through to 4th now.
Where as iPad 12.9' remained as 12.9' from 1st gen through to 6th.

Thanks for explaining, slightly confusing for Apple newbies since it's unusual in the tech world to seperate products in the same line by generation, but Apple will be Apple I guess.
