Google Pixel 7 128GB from 1,900 Points + $744 to 265,100 Points + $0, Free Delivery @ Telstra Plus Rewards Shop

430

Hi Team,

Haven't posted for a while so go easy on me! Couldn't see this deal listed so thought id let everyone know.
Like the Pixel 7 Pro deal but for the non Pro, 1,900 points brings the Pixel 7 down to $744. Outright or on payment plan if you're with Telstra.

Points + Pay on a sliding scale from

  • 1,900 points + $744 (was 5,500 points + $984), to
  • 265,100 points + $0 (was 356,000 points + $0)

Having to provide a DL/Medicare is ridiculous

For an outright phone? Yes the Feds really do need to tighten the regulations surrounding compulsory data collections by companies.

      • Yep, for an outright purchase. Even though I’m an existing Telstra customer

It's all on the public internet anyway. No point hiding these anymore.

They don't even let you delete your details when you have no active services with them. It's about time they ammended the privacy act to give Australians the right to be forgotten.

Since the Optus leak, I’ve been slowly contacting businesses to request the deletion of my accounts. Some say “yep, 24 hours”, some “up to 30 days”, one said it could take “up to 3 months”!!!

Up to 3 months sounds like code for "the useful people that could fix this left the company and our sales team don't know anything".

  • Looking to interview someone with 265100 points.

My in-laws have around this, Telstra actually contacted them to tell them they had points to use because they weren't aware. They've been with Telstra a long ass time because they live rural.

        Lol doesn't work like that.

Why would I make that up?

        Points expire every 3 years

How much are they spending with Telstra? 🤔

        • As far as I know, a couple mobile plans, home internet and new phones every year.

  • Is there a way to get an easy 600 points?

    • Have you tried the comp ?

  • Ordered, thanks OP! Was going to do the $300 trade-in bonus but this works out better :)

Happy to help! :) Jo you can sell your phone privately and make some more $$$

Tossing up if I should buy myself. Have an a73 with the larger screen.. 🤔

  • Any idea when this offer ends? I am going to Europe 7th of January and I have 60 days before that to claim back the 10% GST.

  • About the only time I wish I had more Telstra points than 0.

  • I bought this yesterday for 62,000 points + $576. Not bad at all.

Is there any information on delivery or express delivery options? Going overseas but don't think this will arrive in time.

    • Gets delivered by StarTrack so should be next day or so delivery

Hi! I walk in to Telstra store today to get it. You can try that if you need to get it asap!

  • Can't get the deal to load anymore on the Telstra Rewards store even though it was showing as possible. Has it expired?

    • It's still there

      • strange as when I clicked it, it just kept spinning. Yet when I went to incognito mode it opened but at the all price and points required.

  • Hi! would you know if this is locked to Telstra sim only? I did not see any information about this. Thanks!

    • Nope, only certain cheap prepaid phones are. Eg the $79+ phones Inc circa $30 Sim.

      • Awesome! Thank you.

    • I was told by the online agent that there's the device unlocking fee. Can anyone please confirm?

Customers can unlock their Telstra Pre-Paid mobile, iPhone or mobile broadband device so it works on another network - but if it was activated on the Telstra network for less than two years, we charge:

$80 for devices never activated or only active for six months or less
$25 for devices activated for six months to 2 years
Free for devices activated 2 years or more

      • Did you tell the agent that you are buying outright phone? As quog mentioned above, prepaid phones are locked to network and will incur unlocking fees within 2 years of activation.

        • Yes, I specifically asked for Pixel 7 or Pixel 7 Pro outright and they provided the above info. I am thinking to go instore and ask again.

  • Just tried and it worked! I have been looking to get a new mobile for my mom and just used my Telstra points.

  • Great deal, picked one up. Thanks!

  • how to get an account and points if you not with telstra ?

  • Can anyone please confirm whether you can use Telstra points in-store or whether you can pick it up from a Telstra shop? It won't let you ship it to a PO box or parcel locker and you need to be home to show ID

    • +1

Can buy in store. Actually all their price tags show price and rewards + $ below.

      • Great, thanks for confirming. I ended up ordering online and it will go to the post office if I'm not home.

  • awesome deal. just bought one

  • Had 30,000 points expiring next year, given how little things appear on the rewards store.

Everyone should check their original bonus as it will go

If black Friday is better then this the shrieking will be more than a Twitter user.

  • Deal is back on! Also applying to the pixel 6a now….

    Grabbed a 7 👍
