Probably best to wait for something like this if you're not in hurry.

Got a clifton 8 for $119.98. Twas a good deal.

    • I missed that one….
I did buy a pair of white clifton 8 here for mother in law as she likes hoka.
White is sometimes hard to find on sale so ok for that color.

  • I got gel nimbus and I like it, any one have experience with hoka clifton and Bondi series?

    • Hoka's have way more cushioning than the gel nimbus

    • +1

Clifton 8's are my go to, they're amazing. Bondi have slightly better cushioning and heel stability, but I prefer the feel of the Clifton for whatever reason.

Anyone know if these shoes are suitable for walking/standing for long periods of time (healthcare)? And also with orthotic use too?

    • +1

Definitely are good for that. Probably hoka clifton is a better walking shoe than running imo.

      • Agreed. I’ve got a pair and they suit walking or short runs. On longer runs they tend to get squishier and rub causing blisters

They certainly aren’t worth $230. Half that at best

      • Okay, any idea how this compares with the Bondi too?

    • Yes, i wear them all day standing. Very comfortable. I find them to be better than brooks, asics and ultraboosts. They have a 6mm raise as opposed to 10mm raise for the other ones, so its a bit more neutral. Highly supportive and light. My first pair of hokas but i think ill get another

      • Is a lower raise better than a higher raise for standing?

  • Hoka's (Bondi 7 and Clifton 8) are cheaper on Catch than here!

  • +4

Running Warehouse has Clifton 8's for $115, use code sunsuper15 to get an extra 15% off, comes down to $98.

    • Many thanks! Snagged another pair of Clifton 8s 😁

    • Very limited sizes

    • Nice. Bought one to try. Thanks!

  • New Balance 880 & 860 always $150 at the New Balance outlet stores. I don’t think they offer this same deal online

  • Can someone comments on brook ghost 14 vs adios 7. Thanks

    • What sort of shoe are you after?

These are just my opinions, but I'd class the Ghost as a standard business like daily trainer that will chew up the km's, whilst not being the most exciting shoe you'll ever run in. Has quite a high drop at 12mm
FWIW…..I retired a pair of Ghost 13's at around the 900km mark. Very durable shoe. Still could have probably pumped out a few more km's in them, but had newer shoes to put to use. :)

Adidas are one of the few brands I haven't run in. The Adios 7 to my knowledge is a lighter shoe that would be more suited or designed for faster uptempo runs. Lower stack height and lower 8mm drop too compared to the Ghost's.
