Brightness: 806 Lumens - Colour Temperature: 2,700K

Dont expect anything fantastic.

I have 1500 lumens and still reckon they are a little dull

  806 lumens should be equiv to 60W so yes not bright at all, also 2700k will make it seem even less bright than it really is.

  You have tplink 1500lumen bulbs or another brand?
  
  800 lumens is what an old fashion 60w incandescent bulb produced. 2,700K is the old warm white.
  
  Idea for bedrooms, loungeroom, etc where you want a softer light.
  
  A 1500lumen light is just shy of the old fashion 90w incandescent bulb ( 100w = 1600lumens). So maybe your bulb isn't throwing off 1500lum? Or you're a star on stage and used to being in the spotlight?
