RRP is $449. Sale price was $368. They have an extra 10% this weekend, bringing it down to $331 approx.

More expensive than what Amazon.fr/.de sell for (circa $265 shipped) but they won't ship to Australia at present (or anymore?). Amazon.es will sell and ship for circa $330 - but no warranty if purchased from overseas. I bought it on my Platinum credit card, so an extra year warranty (standard Dyson warranty is 2 years).

Was tossing up between the DC35 and DC34 Animal (which is $287 less 10%). Both seem very good. The DC35 will save your back. I've used it for about 2 mins so far on carpet and it picked up A LOT of dust.

$330 for a glorified DustBuster, yes, but it's a good compromise between having to use a full vacuum and a useless cheap DustBuster.

      Sorry, won't be able to. But just give them a call - the extra 10% promotion is off all vacuum cleaners and a range of other small appliances. I saw it advertised on TV today.

    Yeah I picked up a DC39 Animal for $655 today. Cheapest I've seen that model.

    That is a really good deal. Awesome vacuum! I bought a DC35 Animal for $398 at HN gepps cross (adelaide) a few weeks back by negotiating (I believe the ticket price was $459 or something).

    not a great deal, but probably still worth it. I walked into goodguys a few months ago and got the same vac for $300. a fair amount of haggling though

    Yes - has a docking station.

    I reckon you could clean most of a small house with this most of the time - especially if you have tiles or floor boards.

      2-3 hours by the book, have it at home, not a major issue as cleans most of the house on standard power.
