Delivery costs in title please or is it free?

  • Which is better, this or the Breville?

    • The portafilter in these are aluminium, not a good thing to hold heat

      • Do you know if a standard 58mm portafilter fits in them? Or is it like putting makeup on a pig replacing it?

You're better off buying something else, Sunbeam is not what it used to be when their original cafe series machines came out.
Breville has by far got better tech depending on what you want out of it.
Instant on? Go buy a Bambino(plus or non plus depending if you want lazy milk drinks)
Good thermal stability but inbuilt grinder? Barista Express
Good thermal stability but cheap? Duo Temp
Adjustability and ability to mod, Dual boiler

      • The portafilter in these are aluminium, not a good thing to hold heat

So the breville is better then?

        • You will get a much better quality coffee from something like a Barista Express, yes

      • Why would you need it to hold heat?

You can as well say it heats up quicker.

      in different color

      That one isn't colo'u'red.

  • I had this for 375 days. It was ok until it started leaking water and steam stopped
working. Leaking water is a common issue within this product. Sunbeam was happy to give store credit even out of warranty. I ended up buying Breville. So, far it’s very good.

    • Interesting, I had a sunbeam a few years ago leak water too!

          Thanks for reiterating

    • Give store credit - as in give the entire sum back as store credit? Not bad if true.

But also keep in mind it wasn't out of warranty - such products are covered for 2 years, no matter what the manufacturer says.

  • I've had the previous model to this for 2 years. Makes 1 coffee a day and 2 per day on weekends. I love it. I've never used the Breville so I can't compare it, but I'm very happy with mine
