First deal post, hope I've got it right.

I had looked at this mouse a few times in the last month and Amazon sent me an email to let me know it's on sale again. I probably don't need it, but hope this helps someone who has been waiting for it to price drop. Last on sale over a month ago, seems to be a very popular mouse judging on past posts.

Pink is $89.

Amazing mouse and Awesome deal. Having used these, I could now never go back to same old $30ish bluetooth mouse.
    Cheers OP.

Kmart sells a Bluetooth for $12. Works perfect on a Macbook.

        Cool story bro

  • I agree, this is my fav mouse too, better than the MX Master 3. I have both and use this one vast majority of the time.

    • +1

Out of curiosity, what are the features that set this one higher than the MX3 in your opinion?

      • this one works on more surfaces than the master. weird i know but i've done a few tests and the master don't work well on a table with a clear cover, whereas the anywhere works fine on every surface.

i don't use the side scroll at all.

        • Hmm ok. I've got a mouse pad so that should not be an issue. My MX3S seemed to work well on even glass surface.

Also the feel: Is the MX Any feel small in your hand? What does the egornomic look like?

          • @Grey 13: Depends on the size of your hands.

My hands are average sized and the Anywhere 3 fits perfectly well. There are ridged silicon grips along the left and right side of the mouse that feels comfortable on the tips of my thumb and ring finger. It's better than the textured polygonal grips on the sides of my older Anywhere 2 mouse, which has started to become a little tacky.

      But side scroll wheel

      • The only application I can think of where a side scroll wheel would be useful is if you're working on large spreadsheets.

Otherwise, the regular scroll wheel would be suffice for general web browsing and office applications.

        • I normally remap the side scroll to zoom in/out. That's useful for lots of applications.

      • +2

You can side scroll by holding the side button and using the middle scroll wheel. Very good mouse for large excel sheets.

        • +1

Yes, I know that. I have both mice. I'd much rather use the 3 over the Anywhere 3 though

  • Does anyone know if I charge the mouse using a GaN charger capable of charging at 65W will it reduce the battery life of the mouse?

    • +3

You should be fine as MX anywhere 3 dont take all 65w.

      • +1

        Thanks!

    • +3

I have a Belkin 108w GaN charger and a baseus USBC to USBC cable with a watt meter on it.

It only charges at 1w to 2w no matter how low the battery is.

      • Oh that’s great to know. Thank you!

    • Won't be an issue as long as you have a quality charger from a reputable brand.

    • If you disassemble the mouse and the wire up the internal battery to a suitable USB-C based charging circuit that will feed 20v directly to it, probably.

      Otherwise no

  • I bought an Anywhere 2S $70 for 5+yrs and it's still going strong with some tear and wear. it's definitely worth every penny (though I wish the switching devices button was on the top instead of bottom of the mouse)

  • +4

$72 from eBay if you have StudentBeans Membership

I bought one of these to replace my Anywhere 2S and returned it the next day. YMMV however going from the 2 to 3 felt like a downgrade. Mouse doesn’t have a premium feel to it compared to the 2 and just feels a bit off.

Can someone help me with a question? As a Mac user I'm trying to work out how well integrated one can get the "trackpad functionalities" with a mouse like this– is it just a matter of programming the extra buttons and getting used to what does what? Basically I'm trying to work out whether I should be getting this instead of a magic mouse… I don't game, just office use really. Thanks :)

    • +1

yep! I programmed gestures and macros with this mouse to make up for the lack of a trackpad at a desk, mostly ones for Mission Control.

I would 100% recommend this mouse over the Magic Mouse, that mouse has awful ergonomics.

      • +1

        Brilliant, thanks!!

      • Did you do that through the logi options app?

I had an old 2s that the feet were worn out & very rough.
I found this site that has replacement feet:https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/203597242391?hash=item2f67576017:g:gzEAAOSwZBJhOFdH&amdata=enc%3AAQAHAAAA4BbCPxxo93376fJQUbh9ioWIutlJx11qXptIZEeZuCBD5FcGSlS%2FEiMOEGx%2BlhrWkGOntgm7LGItk%2B9zvuUxv%2BPXpTvAilGarjEJQcprt2BIHip%2F2CRNvXir5WLNhHKEEbENHjT2iUMouN8I763q0CwdrbdKW5cKvNArzIM8wl6zxjamm0dkzeH75%2B6caK1yJ8%2F19H03qoxU2QsAkIsIHZJiie4MSnrtql7CIX7MWZy2%2B4o2on4TbLL2Hb%2Fpc4Ja7KxFmf8y2kgbwSkejwqv%2F1GQGfklF8udbpmPLN36suU%2B%7Ctkp%3ABk9SR5itpceFYQ

  • Cheers OP, managed to price match with JBHifi :)

kind of sad mx anywhere and master don’t have onboard memory. work laptop doesnt let me install random software like the logitech one so the buttons are switched to default and pretty useless..

    • +1

That's good to know thanks for sharing.

I personally haven't really used the buttons, know I should but not in the habit of it yet.

  • While it felt premium, the scroll was a bit dodgy and kept occasionally not scrolling or 'bouncing' back up when trying to do line-by-line scrolling down a page. Returned it for that reason.

  • Hope you're not left handed.

  • +1

nearly clicked! but then realised it does not have left/right clicks on the wheel which is absolutely awesome feature, that 2S has

    • Yeah you can kinda press a side button and scroll normally to activate side scrolling but it isn't in-built into the scroll wheel unfortunately.

  • Time to buy Logitech shares?

    • Airpods makes more money than all of logitech lineup.

      • Today yes! It is the "viral" effect.
But with ozb promoting expensive Logitech gear who knows?
As for me I love their keyboards. Got 2 mod 220.
        Just the receiver is crap!

  • Ugh. I got the white one thinking it matches my Mac a little better and now realising they don't seem to make any matching keyboard. All of them are black, besides only a few models.. and those models without num keys as far as I can see. Greeeeeat.
