Just thinking. Could this phone be used for when they do super-trade in values for new phones where you get like $800 bucks or something like that. so basically buy this for 200 then use it as a trade in when a new super phone comes out next year

Pretty tempted for the specs and price… definitely a bargain.

But then my LG V50 unexpectedly got an update to Android 12 yesterday, and this Moto is unlikely to go past Android 13 anyway, so I'll exercise restraint and use this for a other year I think.

      Yes you are right Google Wallet is not enabled. However I don't use NFC or Wallet on this phone so its not a concern to me

      I never knew there was Wallet on the pull-down menu, but it's there now for me on Android 12 when the phone is unlocked? On the quick settings.
      
      You can also set it to the bottom right icon on the lock screen, which I just tested.

    My V50 has been rock solid, took the screen protector off a year ago and the screen is pretty resiliant, dropped it a few times and the whole phone has held up well.
    
    I'm quite happy with the cameras. Compared to this G82, it's got a bigger sensor, lower aperture and records 4K video. The screen refresh rate is lacking compared to newer phones, I'll agree.
    
    I'm disappointed that LG have exited the market based on this phone.
