          Speaking to Optus online chat, there is obviously no receipt for the 'bonus' 6a nor is it listed anywhere on the bill (known info.).
          However 'apparently' the main receipt (with no mention of the 6a) will still suffice for warranty claims.
          Doesn't sound all that convincing so I have saved the chat for future reference.
          Assuming Google are part of the bonus deal with Optus and it can all be traced back on their system.
          I don't expect it matters if you are the original purchaser or a re-purchaser, the warranty is valid as per original sale.
          (I did this diligence before buying marketplace re-sale of new 6a phone)

    Contacted via chat as it has been 5 business days which is what they said would be the wait time for the pixel 6a, they did a follow up for me and said that they would be putting through the order and once order has been put through (when stock arrives) I would be notified by email. I asked for a reference and they said there isn’t a reference but just to wait until I get the email. Also that there isn’t a need to follow up anymore as that is how I will be notified. So don’t really know what the ETA is. Anyone got an idea how long before they restock?

      My 6a and p7p arrived shrink-wrapped to each other.
      It took 3-4 days from online order to receiving the package (Sydney). And took ca 30min in chat to cancel the contract. The whole process was very straightforward for me.

    Hi guys, I tried to cancel the device plan and was told in chat that my service will be terminated as well and I will loose my number.

    Is this correct?
    They then offer for me to recontract new device wtf…

    I still have 20 days to go on the service, and I thought I will just use it until last few days before switching to other provider. But I want to cancel the device plan early
    Would this work?

      The best I saw is the line in the 'Delivery Note':

      Google P7 128GB Obsidian 6a Charc Bdl

      But it only lists the IMEI for the P7.

      Everywhere else (online) it only is referenced as 'Google Pixel 7 128GB Obsidian Bundle'

      I think their system (SAP) doesn't seem to handle freebies very well.

      Prices are going down sharply, its no longer worth it selling this on marketplace.

      Pixel 7 is now $750 brand new from Telstra, Pixel 6a also $499.

      You ought to be selling lower than this without receipt or warranty, making this Optus deal basically just 'break-even' in value.

      Only those scalpers selling at the beginning of the month managed to scored a bit of profit/discount.

      Pity those that bought from scalpers, must be spewing.

    I signed up today as well with Pixel 7. Was offered 24.50 monthly plan for 12 months and 49 for remaining 12 months.

    Planning to sell one of the phone, any recommendations which one to sell? Can I sell Pixel 7 for 650? Or 6A for 450?

    Rejected online due to credit check. Currently have 20k Citibank credit card for PayAll and waiting for Citibank Loan that's been closed to show up as closed on credit check.

    Hoped I could go into store (per Optus rejection email) and show the loan closure letter and have the in-store robot override the automatic assessment. Apparently they can't do this but you're being served by someone who probably has no clue so who knows.

    Has anyone had luck on phone or in-store having them reassess credit check after showing it's not up to date. It probably won't be accurate before the deal ends in a week.

      they say yes thats fine send it back and well send you a new one and then make excuses and lie to you for weeks and weeks and then lose your phone then after 2 months of back and forth they give you a case manager who calls you once a week to regurgitate the same excuses over and over but also that you need to send both phones back even thou you thought u were a cool ozbargainer and sold the other phone already. im still back and forth because they literally stole my phone and i kinda want it back.
