You can get this for $350 from Amazon:

    http://www.amazon.com/Crucial-2-5-Inch-Solid-State-CT512M4SS…

Then use a mail forwarder (comgateway charges $24 for 1st 0.5kg which is the chargable weight of this item) to ship here.

Seems like a good deal too.

or you can get it even cheaper if you just put off buying it for a short period http://camelcamelcamel.com/Crucial-2-5-Inch-Solid-State-CT51…

Yuuuup its taking all my will power to not buy one, but this shit fallin' faster than a wingless chicken!

  • Good Deal!

  • Does anyone know if Crucial.com will accept warranty returns from Australia from a US purchase? The BHPhotoVideo terms and conditions specify that the warranty is directly with the manufacturer.. similarly if we use a mail forwarder from Amazon, will Crucial.com accept warranty claims through such an order?

  • Would this be easy to fit in a macbook 13 inch 2011?

    • Its the same shape and size of ordinary 2.5" HDD, I don't see why not.

      13" Pro - YES
      13" Air - No

        Thanks for the answer guys

      • 13" Non-Pro Non-Air - Yes too :D

    • I use one in a late 2011 macbook pro 15, in the hard drive slot. I don't recommend it; even though they say it's 100% compatible it's not, I get beach balls a couple times a day just in Safari.

      • Beach balls?

        • The spinning rainbow pinwheel when the system is unresponsive.

I thought he meant it upgraded the thing to an Amiga - definite plus if that was the case.

          :)

Still better than MASSIVE RIP-OFF (aka Australia Tax)

    • ordered today, it's via courier not post. So should be here in a few days, not weeks.

  • Wow such a great price.

Any one got tired of similar posts? It's now pretty much like regular price drop now.

    • i'm tired of people complaining of similar (but not dupe) posts though.

what about 256gb? i only want to spend less than $200. missed out last time BH deal, what a pity…

    • I'm after a 256GB too, 512GB is a little too much for me.

  • Out of stock, site says temp out of stock.

orders may take a little longer now

  • Did anyone buy this ssd? I bought it less than a week ago at USD 399.99. I tried to claim the difference from B&H but the customer service claimed that the price was always at USD 399.99. Could someone who purchased this ssd at USD 369 kindly send me a message? I probably need the B&H order number to prove to the customer service that the price was at USD 369 so I could claim the difference. Cheers
