The POcruises buy2 get 2 free sale is on again and this time the conditions state that the 2 free guests can be adults. Decent range of options to choose from at around $50 per person per night if you don’t mind having 4 persons in the same room.
Good for folks who missed out on this deal.
Hope this helps some of us.
As always, enjoy!

If you scroll to the bottom of the page, the terms says

      • Yep just found that part when I started looking through the cruises - silly how they word it in the heading to say kids when it’s both! Thanks

Buy 2 get 2 Free’ offer applies to third and fourth guests in respective triple or quad rooms (can be adult or child) travelling in one room with 2 guests paying adult fares

  • So cost is $50 x2 + $0 x2 = $100 per night

    • +2

Sorry if the title is confusing - $50 per person per night is after the discount. So more like $200 per night for 4 people - includes all meals, travel, accomodation, entertainment, kids child care - it can’t get much better 😂

      • So how much does a 4 bed cabin normally cost?

        • From what I have seen, the price normally drops slightly from 2 vs 4 people in a cabin, but it’s not half.

          • @Dealking: Looked at one cruise there under this sale for parents / relatives.

            $1373.51 per person ($2747.02 total) w/ 2 adults free.
            + $100 middle of ship = Room 1: $5,594.04

How does their math below work???
            Adult 1 $1,999.01
            Adult 2 $1,999.01
            Adult 3 $798.01
            Adult 4 $798.01
Taxes, fees and port expenses included^ $1,387.48

            • @Revrnd: Probably have to pick the go fare, instead of value or value plus

  • Thanks OP, just booked for the family.

  • Options with the offer out of Brisbane were rather limited.

  • 2 adults, 2 kids, March 2023 mini suite ade/nz/ade 14 nights $84 pp/day is excellent value.

    • cant see this!

FYI, children above 13yr are tried as adults

  • Thanks OP. I booked 3 rooms for two other families as well. First time cruising. Does anyone know how to change the ‘captain’ from one booked room to another? When booking, I haven’t selected myself to the correct room with kids, but now I’m in full adults room.

    • +1

Not sure, try calling the help desk, but does it really matter? The captain of a room doesn’t really mean anything. Only your bags will get delivered to the tags you put on, that’s the only difference I can think of.

      • Thanks Dealking. That’s what I thought. Since we know each other, we could simply move however we want in between rooms. But, never cruised before, so was wondering will there be any thing else to consider.

        • Think smart and just put the bag tag of the room you want to be in 😀 - the name doesn’t really matter.
The only other thing might be charging to your room etc. It’s cashless cruising, so you need to add a form of payment to your cruise card that is given at the time of check-in and most of the times they just ask you for your room number to charge like if you buy some drinks etc not on package. So just be careful with that, but overall you should be fine. Enjoy!
I have said this enough times here - but just remember to keep a positive attitude and you will have a blast!

  • thanks for sharing op. will definitely have a look

  • Was same deal as last time - that also included adults, not just children.

Thanks for sharing this ! I was not aware. If it helps, I went on a PO cruise in July and they really took the sanitisation measures seriously. But again, it’s very subjective and difficult to control. We are all responsible citizens and it really comes down to the passengers. I am sure other cruise lines will have implemented similar measures (or may be even better - given that PO is considered at the bottom end of the spectrum for cruises), but if the passengers are carefree then that’s a problem.

Bring your own marine emergency procedure and lifeboat too

Getting downvoted. The reality must sting.

    • Because you're simply trolling and adding nothing to the deal.

The real deal is had by not cruising while these ships are still floating petri dishes.

  • Thanks you for the post perfect timing
