All these SSD deals being posted are the same price.

How about free shipping? Because at the moment there's nothing special here at all.

    • Agreed, the $12 shipping is a turn off. Would get the 60g otherwise.

Kingmax vs Ocz who is the winner speedwise?

Good read, thats certainly consistentwith my experience with them.

utterly hopeless, and have no idea of stock

wow… reading the posts.. truly horrendous!

why would anyone do business with this company, and why shouldn't this post disappear into the ozbargain dungeon?

    • cheers for the head sup

    megabuy… mega no!!!

Man! Megabuy is now really feeling the wrath of they poor customer service and arrogance with all the negs. its a good thing. too long we have put up with nonsense from retailers!

    • but is it as serious as your nick dy4me would have us believe?
      Just kidding

Dodgy bad quality businesses who repeatedly shaft customers (even tightarse ozbargainers) deserve to be named and shamed.

Expired in 20 mins hahaha, the deal or the company?

    • +1

      "the deal or the company?"

      their reputation….

  • +1

Deal expired in 20 minutes wow did they only have 1 in stock ?

    • +1

I think they just marked it as expired so less of the ozbargain population would see the negative comments.

  • OH NO. the megabuy rep marker this as expired. must be scared and ran away!

    • or the rep bought up all the stock ???

  • megabuy must have source these drives for SO CHEAP IN BULK so they offer the same(a little more on postage) as other SSD deals recently!!

MegaBuy, how about you guys buy ALL the stocks and start stocking up in order to jack up the price, just like what you did for the HP Microserver? :-P

Ive used megabuy a few times… Varied experiences. Sometimes good and sometimes bad.
You usually need to ring them to kick em up the bum to get them to hurry up and ship something.
I bought a Kyocera printer last week and it took 9 days to arrive and 3 phone calls.

I while ago I bought some Refurbished Acer All in one pcs and was told they are as new and repacked from Acer.
I bought 10 and they were in varying states of quality most had been unpacked an repacked by users, some had scratches on casings, some were missing parts.
I ended up sending 4 of them back and they were fine with that giving me a full refund on those units.

They could be a very good company but they do seem to lack that one major feature.
CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SPEED IN SHIPPING AND SUPPORT.

In the Ecommerce world of today there are many other companies that can and do it better.

Goodluck MegaBuy as next time I need to purchase I probably will get from else where.
and dont be fooled they own 3 other companies as well. All running under different website names.
I know as I once had to order something that was hard to find, Kept ordering from companies website sthat said they had in stock only to find out they were all running the same stock count errors.

"You usually need to ring them to kick em up the bum to get them to hurry up and ship something."

I'd rather just AVOID ever buying anything from them… not worth the headaches…

      • +1

agreed, not worth the effort arguing with them.

    • "and dont be fooled they own 3 other companies as well."

the websites are almost identical, not hard to pick them out…
