    Here we go again..

    • Yep, a great way to get the Delonghi guys work overtime - not on orders but on writing apology emails.
Both codes don't work anymore btw. Just THANKS10

      • Not yet….and it's been 3 hrs

  • +4

I got the magnifica s with the last deal, bloody great machine for under $400

    • +1

Do you have the link? Search function on the site is not very helpful. Searching "magnifica s" returns 7000+ results.

    • +3

anyone reading this, don't buy this crap machine :)

      • The Magnifica or all of them?

        • I had the magnifica- was the worst coffee ever- started drinking instant coffee instead then sold it and bought a proper one

    • Yeah got one, I'll sell my old one

  • Awesome. Needed a portable a/c unit…46% off is pure kino, can confirm it's $350.46 down from $649

    • Have you had one before? Any reviews for a medium bedroom?

  • New cart tab?

    • +3

Add the item you want to the cart.

Right click the cart and open new tab.

Now enter one code in the 1st tab and the other code in 2nd tab.

You will most likely see the discount of both codes in the 2nd tab.

Just look at the total price.

      • If I open a second tab the coupon still has WestpacAFF40 applied.
I can delete it from the second tab and add the other one, but then it removes it in the first tab also and I am back to 10% off.
Dunno what I am doing wrong.

        • Did you go into your cart apply the coupon and then open the 2nd tab?

There should be no coupon applied when opening the 2nd tab.

To start over i guess either delete the item from cart or open a private browsing tab.

          • @Tehcookiemonsta: Oh, my bad for not reading. Thank you!

            • @SimAus007: Honestly reading my first instructions might be my problem :P

              • @Tehcookiemonsta: Ahhh can't checkout now….
"Something went wrong, please try again later in case of payment use a different method or make sure the data inserted is correct"

Cannot get past… Proceed to payment.

          • @Tehcookiemonsta: Ahhhh that's what I was doing wrong. Thanks for clarifying!

I pulled the trigger without unfortunately. Extra $40 off the magnifica s would've been nice but didn't want to miss out again :D

        • +1

duplicate the tabs before entering the discount code.

        • Add items to cart, then open another cart tab - you now have 2 cart tabs
Paste 1 coupon on tab 1 (do not apply), then paste the other one on the second tab and hit apply, which it will apply both codes on tab 1, bringing it down by 46%.

    • could not work it out either

      • I struggled too. Add an item to the cart, click go to cart, don't add any coupon code yet.
Duplicate the tab you will have 2 tabs open with same products.
Now add the codes 1 by 1, first code on the first tab and the 2nd code on the 2nd tab and voila!

        • oh I added the first code in the cart page

doesn't matter pricked up the PrimaDonna Soul Automatic coffee machine for $1,379.40 bargain

coffee newbie here, what's the difference between Stilosa manual vs Dedica manual ?

    https://www.delonghi.com/en-au/ec230-bk-stilosa-manual-espre…

    https://www.delonghi.com/en-au/ec785-bg-dedica-metallics-man…

Or this which I can't add to cart
    https://www.delonghi.com/en-au/ec685-bk-dedica-manual-espres…

    Thanks

    • I had the same question. From what I can see, the Stilosa uses a "stainless steal boiler" (sic), and the Dedica uses a thermoblock.

I can't quite understand the differences between the 3 Dedicas either (other than their colours, of course):
      * $329 silver
      * $299 red
      * $279 beige

      • +1

what's the difference between stainless steel boiler and thermoblock? Wondering why would someone pick Dedica over Stilosa apart from the convenience of compact size?

And here the differences I found for different dedica versions:

Silver - Milk frother is different (could be better) than the other two. Also comes with stainless steel body
        red - plastic body
        beige - stainless steel body

        • @Anonymous101:

Wondering why would someone pick Dedica over Stilosa apart from the convenience of compact size?

          Exactly.

In short, a boiler is the best heating system which ensures perfect temperature consistency throughout the brewing process. It is also the most expensive system, which is used in most commercial espresso machines. A thermocoil is much better than a thermoblock. It heats up water quickly and more evenly. It is also less susceptible to problems. Last but not least, a thermoblock is the most basic heating system prevalent in many inexpensive coffee machines. It heats water quickly, but may sometimes fail to deliver consistent water temperatures. (Owly Choice)

          • @wisdomtooth: OTOH…

            Thermoblock Vs Boiler

            Thermoblocks:
            * Require less preheating time
            * Can generate constant hot water
            * Are more energy efficient
            * Have better temperature control compared to single boiler systems
            * Have worse temperature control compared to double boiler systems
            * Are more susceptible to leaking
            * Are more heavily impacted by scale
            * Have shorter lifespans before needing repair or replacement

  • Any good air cons for a bedroom you guys can recommend? Would be worthwhile given the discounts?

    • Exactly what I was wondering.

      • I just copped the pinguino for $350

        • Have you had one before. Would like to know if they’re any good?

          • +1

@Tophau: Nope, need it for a specific application. YT reviews were overwhelmingly positive so pulled the trigger. Delonghi have a 30 say money back guarantee IIRC.

        • Yup did the same. For $350, I'm sure it'll do the job.

          • @DustyAfternoon: The 2.9kw?

            • +1

@Tophau: Nah the 2.1. This one.

I just ran a quick comparison using the site tool, and this one has a window install kit, which sounded useful.

I figured more important to just get the 47% discount purchase in, rather than spend half a day looking up YouTube reviews over what will amount to window dressing.

They’re all roughly equal units by the same manufacturer, so it should work out.

              • +1

@DustyAfternoon: That's good to know. I just assumed they all came with the window mounting kit. Like you I was more worried about buying the bloody thing for cheap, I figured there's always eBay etc to grab accessories.

  • Great deal. Issue with WFH and having your partner also WFH is being talked out of buying another coffee machine. Best of luck fellow OzBargainers.

  • What's the dedica grinder like?

  • looks like it won't go through again

once i hit place order it thinks and then just goes back to the pay page

  • FFS!!

Bought a machine impulsively yesterday after mine died with next day delivery and I have now opened and made a few brews!!

If only it had died a day later.

Oh well, you win some, you lose some.

    • "Simply return your unused product within 30 days for a refund."

      • +1

alas, it's already been used for 5 coffees, but in my trials it seems I can't proceed to checkout so whatev's - seems to good to be true

        • oh I thought you meant you ordered yday. ah well

        • +1

If you can make it work, buy a new machine and then return the new one with the old sale.

    • What does 'died' mean?

Not much to them. Probably a fuse.

  • Didn't they cancel all order last time??

    • nah some got through

      • that's good, just notice some order was cancelled but didn't follow up others

  • just worked after trying ten times

PrimaDonna Soul Automatic coffee machine ordered

    • I bought one from the last deal. Not impressed by the machine even at the dsciounter price, mind you i swaped from the breville dual boiler.

  • How does the Delonghi Arte Compare to Breville bes870?

LOL asking after my purchase… here's hoping they don't cancel.

  • These portable ACs are bloody hard to install

    • How so?

      • The window in my unit is very high, it's a half window. Other room has a window which opens with a small knob but it is only lifted a few inches on one side, like a triangle. I have to figure out how to install one without land lord noticing it.

        • Lol so it's hard specifically for your situation, but not generally! The YT vids make it seem quite straight forward with a window mounting kit. Did you think about 3D printing an adaptor for the hose to window?

          • @The Judge: Hmm 3D print a window? The window is like 1x1m one one room with a knob. The other is very high, I need to get a bigger pipe, the supplied one would probably fit.

Tbh, it's my first portable AC. I always knew I can't install one but thanks to ozbargain family I bought one 😂

            • @sqheaven: Lol I get you now, I thought you meant the window shape was irregular. Anyway you can resell this pretty much BNWT / unopened for an easy profit of $100-150.

Cant go further than the cart!

  • Thanks got the Delonghi Tasciugo AriaDry Multi 14L Dehumidifier for $204 using both codes.

    • Same here, i think this deal is over lol

    anyone else having this issue?

  • +1

Wow, just did the 46% percent off on the https://www.delonghi.com/en-au/multigrill-1100-grill-cgh1112… - Multigrill 1100.
Paid $230 total including delivery, that's crazy.
Christmas for the mother done! haha.

    • You will love it, its great, make sure to get waffle plates and extra set of griddle plates

      • Why extra set of griddle plates? I only ordered waffle plates

        • They are not essential, when i toasted cheese i like to have a flat surface on both side and not ribbed

  • thanks, grinder came back in stock and stacked it with the 10%.

  • My order went through - kettle and sandwich press

Let’s see if it actually gets delivered though!

  • +1

Proceed to checkout just keeps refreshing the page :(

    ozbargained.

    • Yep, same here, the deal is over :(

  • Magifica Evo $539.. What a steal…. with free gifts.

  • +1

    Won't allow checkout.

  • +2

Can't checkout even without the code(s) haha

    • Just checked out for a double stacked grinder

      $134

The coffee container I only got the 40% off, not both….😏

  • They've removed WestpacAFF4 code now.

If you delete it then reapply it, it won't work.

    • just worked for me again

  • The double code trick works!

    • -1

It doesn't now (not for me anyway).
Impossible to get to the checkout payment page.

      • It still works! You need to open 2 tabs of the cart without applying any code.

Then apply Westpac code to tab 1 and THANKS10 to tab 2. Then Tab 2 will show a total of 46% discount.

        • Not working for me now. I get the error "Voucher not found" for the westpac one.

          • @SimAus007: I just did it again. Even after make a purchase 10 mins ago. It still works.

            • @KaTst3R: Try to click "proceed to checkout" and tell me what happens, please?

              • -1

@SimAus007: Ok doesnt work anymore. It doesnt let you check out. Fun has ended.

Welcome10 also doesnt work if anyone is curious. But i did manage to stack 3 codes at one point. It just doesnt check out.

                • @KaTst3R: Was the total discount more than 46% with all 3? My cart shows the same price adding the third with "WestpacAFF40THANKS10WELCOME10" all applied but it bugs me if I didn't use all the promos. THANKS10 has the same effect as WELCOME10 on my end so it still works and I probably didn't miss out.

        • THANKS10 doesn't work anymore
Says "Voucher not found or already applied"

  • Try to check out with PayPal

  • managed to grab a coffee machine without any hesitation due to the popularity & shortlive of last deal :)

  • I just ordered a 4-slice toaster for only $53.46 to replace one that we've had for years. These are really good units.

    • I bought this too, then I found a 2-slice toaster which seems more reasonable for me, but code not working anymore for me.
Luckily I didn't cancel previous order before trying to buy that one

    • You can't fit long bread in those
Better to get the long 2 slice

  • Primadonna soul or maestosa? Anyone have any experience with either of these and know which produces a better coffee?

    • -1

      Always medium roast
