    Hi Rep, any bargains?

    • +1

Once you go in the checkout it discounts all the items

  • +2

How is this 70% off? Prices on site look pretty standard

    • When u add them in to the cart and at checkout, they automatically take 70% off.

FYI; This website was created 8 days ago. I'm not saying this isn't legit, just a new business so beware.

            @10101010101:

            U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit - 973 F.2d 1089 (3d Cir. 1992)

Immigrated from USA to escape IRS? :D

            Interesting that another business name:
CRAZY KIDS SALES registered 29/09/2022 using ABN 63 635 693 599 has a different warehouse address 47 Micro Circuit Dandenong South VIC 3175

@rompastompa: Hmm, upon checkout you get this message

An email will be sent containing information about your purchase. If you have any questions about your purchase, email us at [email protected].

        • So they sell adult toys as well as kids toys? What a weird synergy…

          • +4

@[Deactivated]: James King & Danny Graham are in the video below that was on "A Current Affair" about another one of their many business names - "Kingdom Warehouse", customers never receiving their items.

Negging to alert members to watch the video & I have reported it to the mods. You can see the same address in the video as mentioned above by rompastompa.

  • Rep- how many days for free shipping would take ?

  • +2

bought a number of items via paypal checkout.
    will see how it goes

  • +2

Free shipping on all orders. Just looked at their Bluey backpack which comes down to $4.48 after discount, and shipping would cost them more than that. Not saying it's a scam but if you're going to buy anything off here, then use PayPal

  • Seems too good to be true. Even normal prices seem fairly cheap let alone another 70% off.

    • +5

I'm always suss on reps that log off 1 minute after posting too.

  • +4

    Strongly recommend PayPal

  • +1

Seems too good to be true.

  • +1

Hmm added to cart but the final price seems too good to be true.
If I pay via PayPal will I definitely get my money back if it’s a scam?

    • You Should. Should being the key word

    • +3

Wouldn't say definitely. Can be a hassle if the scammer wants to fight the issue with PayPal. I personally wouldn't bother risking it

  • Seems like mostly clearance junk that you'd find at a Jeffs Shed sale.

  • This deal has really got my head spinning. If this is legit then deal of the month for sure. If not paypal buyers proction.

  • Did an order and used PayPal and pay in four to lessen the impact of losing to much just in case

    • +1

How does that lessen the impact? Seems like 4 times the work now if something goes wrong.

  • Your order number is 123

Let's see if they deliver. If so, win. If not, potential loss is about $28.

    • +1

Yeah same here #132. Holding out hope as daughter is Bluey mad so grabbed her a few things.

      • +1

        We'll see…fingers/eyes etc crossed.

  • Did anyone received an email confirmation on their order?

    • Yeah received confirmation.

  • I've taken a $5 gamble. Let's see

  • +1

Would be a bit more comforting if the rep actually stuck around to answer questions. Red flags…

  • From looking through what they offer, looks like drop-shipped AliExpress stuff.

Lots of low value stuff - e.g. kids smart watch for $10.

    • +1

I can see lots of actual brand toys that aren't aliexpress.

      • You can get branded stuff on AliExpress, such as these Bluey figurines.

        • Yes but there are lots more that arent on aliexpress or knockoffs.

  • +1

I'm in for $46… Fingers crossed, otherwise all hopes are on PayPal..

    • +1

Your risk profile is 10x mine. Can afford to lose $4.60 as a one off

      • +1

I'm in for $43 via PayPal. Will let you know when it arrives or doesn't
The low resolution images and lack of descriptions didn't instill a lot of confidence but the deal was too good to pass up.

  • +7

Seems like same owner with Kingdom Warehouse which reported on Current Affairs, never delivered customer orders. Link for the news:- https://amp.nine.com.au/article/d10e7046-62f6-4ce0-bcda-a2b8…

    • +1

      Oh holy crap dammit

  • +1

Seems like a lot of businesses have/are operating out of that address. (Shared office - w/house space.)
Anyone around the Vermont (Vic) area that wants to drive by… See what you think!

  • +1

looks well dodgy! famous on Current Affairs by comments!

  • +3

This owner needs to hunted down and arrested for theft. They’re strealing from parents who’ve saved up their hard earned cash only to be ripped off completely.

  • +1

Neg due to multiple red flags. No bargain listed.

  • +1

Wow, just wow… yeah, major issue with retailer doesn’t even begin to cover this neg…

  • Merged from Mega Wholesale Toys - Deal Unpublished Issues with Company

There was a deal yesterday by Mega Wholesale Toys but I can’t find it anymore just wanted to understand if it was pulled because of issues with the vendor or something else?

I’d made an order earlier is there something I should be worried about?

    • +8

PLEASE tell me you used PayPal…

Deal was unpublished as issues with company - there was HUGE red flags as some members pointed out with some excellent detective work. (Well other than the initial huge red flags)

      • +5

Was this the 70% off one where the website was set up a week ago by a company that was set up a month ago and had a director who was the wife of some guy who had more warnings out against him than a front row at a bikie wedding?

        • Thanks comments are gone so didn’t realise what it was - so is the guess take the money and run?

      • Yeah I used PayPal

    • +3

      (Issues with Company)

      Here

      • +1

Thanks just trying to understand what “issues with company” that means though as all comments are gone…

    • +1

I guess the Company Name including the words "Mega" and "Toy" was a big clue.

    • +16

Here is the Google Cache I took a screenshot in case it disappears.

Oddly they don't appear to be permanently banned - megawholesaletoys » user profile

    • Haha i was about to place an order then I thought about

      1) likelihood of it being delivered - very little
      2) if it does get delivered, it ll probably be some cheap landfill product anyway

    • +1

Just got an email from the company and PayPal they canceled my order and refunded me.
Very odd - if the aim of the game was to scam everyone why refund so soon?

      • Probably don't want ACA showing up on their new doorstep again.

      • +1

        Yeah same

        Dear Customer,

Thank you for your recent purchase, as requested by you and or PayPal your order has now been cancelled and refunded.

To ensure you know we are not a “scam” we have done this the following next business day – being today since you placed this order.

We hope you find items similar in the future.

We are sorry we cannot supply you based on other people’s comments and concerns.

        Refund was immediate.

        Thank you

        Customer Support Management

        Lol @ the bolded line.

        Also, they deleted my account…

And they still have the items that I ordered.

I feel like ordering again lol

        • WTF, that's glorious! 100% scam and they dont want the backlash.

      • Same here just got a PayPal refund and order cancelled email

    • +1

Same thing here. Immediate refund without legitimate explanation.

    • Bizarre

    • Was this been a hugely elaborate way to just harvest details maybe?

Either that or they were not expecting a huge backlash

      • +1

Maybe they're banking on the forgetfulness of unsuspecting customers who haven't requested a refund in the hopes of receiving their order?

      • Nah easier for them to just download the Optus or Medibank data. Very bizarre but glad I got my refund

  • OP gone, never to be seen again. Like peoples orders.

  • do not support these people

  • +3

Thanks admins for re-instating this post. I think there's a LOT of people who have a severe lack of critical thinking ability and there are lots of scammers out there ready to take advantage.

Hopefully this will save someone in the future!

  • Last order I made they refunded with no reason given. Screw these scammer a*****es they can rot.

  • +1

My refund was rejected. Anyone else get a message from Paypal to contact them?

    • Yeah, just got that message from Paypal too.

This may explain why they were so quick to refund… once they do, there's no option for buyers to escalate this case in the Paypal Resolution Centre, even if the refund wasn't successful.

I gotta admit, it's been intriguing learning about how this scam works lol

    • Yup, me too.
So i went to the Resolution Centre and opened a dispute saying did not receive a refund the seller agreed to. Hopefully Paypal will save us?
Did you guys open a dispute with Paypal too or contact these Mega toys guys?

      • I had already opened one before the seller attempted a refund. Before there was an option to escalate if seller doesn't respond, but now there's no option to escalate as it shows a refund was provided (even though it wasn't successful).

I've contacted them via chat, waiting to see what the response is

        • My dispute was rejected, please keep me updated about yours.

          • @Tarapara: My response from Paypal was the case is still under review and to wait a bit. I'll give them til next Monday and check in again.

    • My refund came through on 07/11 into my bank account?

  • They've removed the DNS record from the domain now.

  • Can we ban mega wholesale toys user

  • Paypal has rejected my dispute. I have veen scammed and cannot get back the $46. Sad but lesson learned. Enjoy my hard earned money OP. Hope you don't choke on it

    • How is that possible if you haven't received the item? Do you need to wait a bit longer as it's only been 5 days?

      • No it was rejected straight away saying not eligible for Paypal Buyers protection. The company must have done something or changed something on their end. No wonder they were so comfortable letting us pay via paypal.

        • Oh wtf that sucks. Go via your credit card company

        • I would have thought that these circumstances fit perfectly within scope of the Paypal Buyer protection scheme (i.e., you didn't receive products paid for).

  • +2

Lodged a formal ACCC complaint and highlighted the failings of ASIC in allowing these people to continue to start up scam businesses. The more ACCC complaints the better, and it might be nice to see these crooks on ACA for the second time this year.

  • +1

An suggestion for anyone chasing a refund:

So, my original refund was "rejected by the seller", without explanation. After trying to contact the "seller" my emails bounced. However, I discovered that if I select "Dispute" via the Paypal Message Centre, select that I didn't receive purchased items, and then provide a bit of context in response to the "Additional Information" prompt then it will allow you to confirm the dispute lodgement (instead of going through the lengthy Resolution Centre automated options). Literally within a few minutes of submission, I received confirmation of payment into my bank account. Complete, instant refund. Clearly Paypal is aware of what has happened.
