I received the e-mail as well, but got error message "code has expired" when I tried to add to my account (clicked on the link provided in the e-mail). Anyone having same issue?

Yup… Same here. Google'd services have been pretty buggy for me lately. I've had to raise multiple tickets with the Google One support in the last couple of weeks

ok, so I talked to the support chat for Google Play Store and they had to manually add the credit to my account, suggest everyone else experiencing the same issue to do the same.
