An ebook won't do you any in the end days. Make sure to print this out. That was you'll have something to start fires.

Damnit, I was going to make such a comment.. well played.

Well you're both wrong… my kindle will hold a charge for about 6 months. After 6 months without electricity you will not need this book. May or may not survive an EMP.

        • Portable solar power for charging. Until the batteries die.

        • Gee you're lucky… my Kindle only holds a charge for a couple of days.. I must read too much… come the apocalypse I'm doomed if I can't read.

        • A kindle is useless without lots of wood to burn.

        • Exactly.
I’m convinced some ozbargainers these days are just here to troll the positive.

Make sure to print this out.

Single sided, more fuel for the fire.

      • Pro tip

    • Hopefully, I've printed this out. Otherwise I have downloaded it to my kindle, and wrapped it in 2 alfoil sealled bags, and placing in a led container.

Dont live in America and you'll be fine

Well, they destroy anything around them 1st :(

      • +3

Looking at how things are going there, they'll rip themselves apart before anything.

We just need to make sure the same radicalisation programs aren't as effective here.

All you need is potato powder, milk powder and water.

    Look it up.

    • +1

Where do you buy potato powder? Instant mash?

    • +1

so you can die of scurvy?

      • I have 3 citrus trees. :)

        • +1

After the nuke apocalypse you’ll have 3 glow-in-the-dark citrus trees! Handy as a backup power source, as well as keeping the kids entertained ;)

    • +4

Dehydrated water saves weight in emergency situations.

  • +6

I bought some dehydrated water, but i don't know what to add… (Steven Wright)

    • +3

      Urine.

    • Get some hydrogen and oxygen.

      • A true OzBargain prepper would just get hydrogen and use the free oxygen, available in an atmosphere near you now

      • Hydrogen peroxide, got it!

  • +1

    Stockpiling

It has a great section on ebooks

    • +2

Perhaps I should stockpile e-books in case the internet goes down?

      • +1

        I've already started downloading…

        • All Ozbrs welcome to stay at JV's place during the apocalypse. ;)

I'd put up with jvs wit for 2 months, waiting out the Nuclear Fallout. ;)

  • Is this WW3/Nuclear ready?

    • +2

Only 2 instructions required for that scenario:
      1. Bend over
      2. Kiss arse goodbye

        1. Look at the Bright light. You're screwed
        2. Don't look at the bright light, goto Bunnings, Weld the doors etc and hope they have fuel to power the generators, to keep 2 months of sausage sandwiches cooled.

    Any Prepper's Torah?

    • +1

If there is, Kanye would know the person

      • hes just misunderstood n meant defcon 3 not deathcon lol

  • +3

Probably free cos he admits climate change is real and alienated his usual target demographic.

    • +1

that figures. it has a fake prepper vibe about it.

  • I buried a golden owl to dig up later just in case.

  • +2

This author seems to have published several similar books on living off-grid, surviving in the woods, etc. as well as several others on crypto. Spending all that bitcoin after the apocalypse might be tricky.

  • Thanks OP. Printing now, before the Aliens invade or Putin, unless climate change goes bad like in 2012 under the Mayan Calender.

  • Author is Richard Man hurr hurr
