  • $3.50 RRP each at my local Foodland.

    • +3

      $3.50 at Coles too…

      Isn't this for 3 though?

      Delivery kills the deal.

      • Coles do run $1 OFF now & then, normaly $4.5ea.

        • +1

Yours comes to about $4.60 each delivered. I think most people would be happy to buy from Coles/Woolworths with their grocery shop (saving $1.10 & not having to buy 3).

      • +1

Yep. $3.50 each. Here you have to buy three plus $10 delivery. No deal.

        • -1

          Ok, i get it.

      • It used to be semi-regularly half price at $2. As RRP has now gone up to $4.50, it will likely be $2.25ea soon (Going off Price Hipster's recorded pattern).

Price do vary, please see attached.

    • You get 3 here not one.

So, costs more that Coles with a 6 day BB date… What am I missing?

    • -1

Coles sell for $4.50 & do run $1 OFF.

      • +1

So at full price Coles is still cheaper… And in date…

        • You get 3 for $4 in the deal.
          Coles sells for $4.5ea

          • @chichar: How about the $10 delivery?

            • @sinners007: We have to pay Delivery fees to our Couriers.
There are other items, which can be added to make it worthwhile.

              • +2

@chichar: OP. This will be my last comment on this "deal". Due to not allowing pickup, you are essentially charging $14 for 3 out-of-date sauces, which are cheaper at $4.50rrp at Supermarkets or $3.50 currently at Coles. This just doesn't cut the mustard of an OzB deal.

                • +1

@sinners007: Cut the mustard?! But it's burger sauce! ;)

On topic, yeah, this deal's terrible. If shipping was free, maybe, but as is it's just awful

    • What am I missing?

      fries…

  • +1

Somewhat confusing deal. So it's $14 delivered for 3 right?

I bought the Aldi one when they had theirs recently, I'd imagine it's the safe stuff. Tastes amazing. But 3 would last me a long time 🤔

I think for this deal to work, one needs to buy more than just the 3 jars. It's a shame free shipping doesn't kick in lower but I get it, costs need to be covered.

    • +1

I'd imagine it's the safe stuff.

      Yes, not too hot…

      • +1

Ha, well spotted. I meant to type "I'd imagine it's the same stuff". Whoops.

It's actually not too hot though, for those who like it hot, it's just a nice addition to the burger, bit like spicy mayo.

    • Thanks for your understanding.

      • Maybe you can consider an assorted bulk pack or dumb it down and list an example shopping list. If you could get free shipping at $40 instead of $80 I think it could work. I haven't looked at what else you sell but assume you have a bunch of different products.

Don't worry about the feedback received, OzBargain negative votes works on a bandwagon system usually. Take it as constructive criticism and return with future deals that might work better.

  • Sweet baby Jesus, I've seen some poor deals on OzBargain in my time, but this has to be up there.

Notwithstanding the poor price, who actually wants three jars of this stuff anyway?

  • +1

Lol if it actually even arrived before the best by date, who’s actually going to use 3 jars of burger sauce before the 13th… also cheaper at Coles! This has got to be the worst deal ever posted… even as a promo it’s terrible “hey buy something from my online shop and I’ll throw in some expired burger sauce!”
