        I wouldn't word it like….'they choose to use the worst possible'.

        It's more like they buy the memory chips that does not meet other brand's quality or performance requirements…the foundries obviously discount these, hence cheaper to source and cheaper product in the end for you.

        They will work fine by the time the modules are manufactured and quality tested thru the processes. But obviously there will be higher chance of defects in the hands of consumers at arrival and during its life. If what you do on the computer is not launching space rocket it's fine IMO. If you wanna be extra careful just buy from a reputable place (mwave is definitely reputable) so returns isn't a problem should you need it
