  • 'Olympus OM-D E-M5 Mark II is a digital interchangeable-lens camera announced in February 2015'

damnnnnn its been 7 years already? I remember excitedly picking up my Em5mkii TLK from digidirect thinking oh yeah - m43 is the future, baby.

    • I know, right?

    • I'm still using my Mark I. Can't remember when did I buy it.

        Was it this deal? https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/150394

I bought one, sold the lens for what i paid and basically got the body for free.

That went well so i bought another (or was it 2?) and kept the lens.

I love this cam, been taking cosplay photos with it for almost 3-4 months now. Sad the 75mm is out of stock, that's a pretty good price! the 45mm 1.8 prime is pretty good for portraits too, seriously delish bokeh

    • oh I saw this on the page too, pretty sweet deal if you don't already have a lens: https://explore.omsystem.com/au/en/om-d-e-m10-mark-ii-silver… (not the best lens, but if you're starting out and don't have much cash, it's pretty gud!)

Side note, sometimes https://www.cccwarehouse.com.au/ has good deals on the lenses too, got my 45mm 1.8 for <AUD$300 fresh, shipped within a week, comes from HK tho so not sure how warranty works out with it

      • it's supa good (unless it was supa glood)

      • Would the camera you've linked to, or the one above in this deal be any good for photographing cars?

  • In June I bought an em-1 mark 1 demo from jbhifi for $580, the camera is in great condition and the shutter count is only over 100, but I really don't know why I bought this camera body…probably just because of it looks cheap😂

  • Yup, still using this after so many years. Great value.

    • something's on special in the state of Denmarke
