You know thinking of the way that Delonghi creates those discount codes has made me wonder if it is probably easier to hack into their customer database than Medibank and Optus?
Easier to InsertCompany or GroupName then add "AFF40" and make a code.

If you only use reverse osmosis water in these. You should never have to worry about descaling I've heard.
Did anyone find out what the difference is between the regular magnifica evo titan and the magnifica black (besides the colour and the number of different drinks it makes)?

Are you being serious or joking? Is rain water that much more beneficial for the longevity of the machine?
Absolutely. Where I am, our tap water is super hard. Calcium, magnesium, sodium, etc, all contribute to the water 'hardness'.
Shower screens get hammered, as does washing machine, dishwasher heating elements and storage hot water system elements, that are constantly getting replaced.
I only ever use rain water in my coffee machine, kettle.@Spending2Much: Awesome. Thanks for the reply. I have a rain water tank that I rarely use so I’m going to take advantage of it and do the same for my coffee machine.

I probably wouldn't trust drinking rain water tank water. There would be lots of crap in there (literal).
@Stahh: Hmmm ok thanks for that. So basically I’m hearing unless the rain water tank is filtered and or treated then it shouldn’t be relied on as suitable drinking water.
@Slo20: Yeah… Think of all dirt, bird poop, rust etc that are in the gutters and then go into the rainwater tank.
There's a channel called Jartopia where they collect rainwater/river water etc and put it in a jar with some soil/plant matter and after a little while all sorts of critters spring out from nowhere. It's fascinating but makes me realise that water isn't drinkable.

You shouldn’t be drinking rain water if it’s not treated I heard piss can get evaporated and then fall as rain.Better off getting a filter from Bunnings for your tap.

The free coffee beans and canister do show in my order and confirmation email, maybe because of that the order was stuck in processing forever?
Well that’s concerning then for me. Mine showed up under ‘accessories’ as I was placing the order but once I checked out no longer had any reference. Guess we’ll find out soon enough.

I now wonder if they will just cancel my order because the gifts are already shown in my confirmation email (not invoice), or they will just send the machine and be ready to be questioned about the gifts, or just take some loss (or smaller profits) by honouring the deal and send the complete order.
It's been 6 days and maybe Delonghi is just waiting for impatient customers to call and cancel their orders so they don't need to face the hard decision.
