    Understanding that there would have been an influx of orders as their site got 'ozbargained' which no doubt slowed them down significantly, they've done really well. Very impressive.

  • ECAM290.62.B Magnifica Evo Automatic coffee machine. Came today no welcome pack of coffee and canister.

    I must say using an old https://www.sunbeam.com.au/kitchen-and-home/coffee/espresso-… for the last 6 years I bought for about $150 back then as a cheap buy made me like coffee.
    I can't believe using the same beans the Evo has made at least a 200% better coffee with the same beans. Saying that there is no way in the world this thing is worth $1400 retail. $600 is about right with free stuff and what I paid for it and pissed my free shit never came.

    • haha had the same issue, it travelled all the way from NSW to QLD before getting to me in western Sydney. had to call Aus post to verify and raise it with the depot.

        The damn guy was like it's still in our delivery time frame of 10 business days. Was like but express post is 2 days?

        Think they just make up BS excuses as they go.

      My grill shipped express post on the 21st has not arrived yet. Auspost say it will arrive but I think its all BS. It has been lost in the post.

      • Yeah i called aus post customer care.

        It reads the tracking numbers im assuming based off my mobile number associated with their app.

        My parcel was last not scanned, i also got the bs rest assured it's not lost etc etc…

        Once they deemed it lost, contacted Delonghi who just replied minutes ago are arranging a replacement coffee machine.

        Tldr: aus post sucks ass, parcel lost, Delonghi arranging replacement. Upto 15 business days.

        • Haha mine is also somewhere in NSW. So how do I get Australia Post to seem my parcel lost? Why does Delonghi need to contact them?

          • @Circly: Did their email not mention when they will get back to you?

            When the parcel reaches the delivered by date and it doesn't arrive contact aus post.

            They will deem the item as lost in transit and then with the case number provided contact Delonghi to set up a replacement.

            I guess if you don't want a replacement and just your money back then maybe talk with Aus post…

            Alternatively you can try contacting Delonghi now and see what they say. I went through their live chat worked easy as just gave them my order number.

            • @Tehcookiemonsta: Nope that's their whole email. Basically after 5/12/22 to tell delonghi to contact Australia Post which seems backwards.

              I think getting a case number from Australia Post and giving that to Delonghi sounds better.

              I definitely want a replacement as I already picked up 290 pods (240 + 50 free) from Nespresso haha so won't be happy if they don't provide a replacement.

              It's interesting because my order had 2 x coffee machines.. The other one has already arrived and the gf is already using hers. Mine is just stuck in limbo.

              After 5/12 I'll do as you say and will contact both Australia Post and Delonghi simultaneously.

              Express post my butt!

                @Circly: Yeah Aus post really sucks.

                I'm just glad Delonghi is offering a replacement instead of refunding the money, I wouldn't be able to purchase the machine i bought for the same price again…

                And I already bought accessories for it lol…

                      • @Circly: Yep they gave me 15 Business days for the item to be dispatched from warehouse so it could be even longer with delivery.

                    There must be a chance you will get two grills then… What if the Australia Post item still makes its way to you.

                    • @Circly: Yes . I contacted them before the case was closed. I dont think the original item is going to arrive. It was supposed to be express post but its now nearly 2 weeks.

  • Finally got my machine but Delonghi hasn’t provided us with a power cable 🤦‍♂️ after waiting 4 weeks
