          Ahh I see which one you were referring to. Currently CR is offering 6% cashback until 11:59am and I think that featured offer relates to the 6%

    Is paying with Ultimate Home cards at the Good Guys considered gift cards, hence invalidating cashback? The Ultimate cards are technically a type of Visa card. Appreciate if anyone has had any experience using these cards previously and still got cashback approved.

      Im in the same situation, I have a $500 Visa Ultimate Everyone card, Not sure how it works but I think it is put in at the credit card part, not gift card? So it should be accepted? My issue is I want to spend $560 on a single product, but not sure if GG do split payments, ie 500 on Visa Ultimate and 60 on my bank credit card. Anyway tried this ?

        The only way to get around this is to pay the $500 using ultimate gc (under credit card section) and pay the remaining balance, $60 with up to two TGG gc.

                One can argue that you can get cashback on the $500 you paid using visa ultimate but not the $60 paid with gc.

                Another huddle also raised above as well, wondering if TGG is going to classify order paid using ultimate gc as an act of redemption of gc.

        Hijacking to ask - has anyone had success with split payments with TGG? I just tried using a $100 Ultimate GC (as a credit card) for a $200 item and keep getting the message that the payment is unsuccessful. I also couldn't find a way to use the Ultimate GC as just a GC (instead of a credit card), or is that just not possible?

    Is it just me or Cashreward Chrome extension doesn't currently work on thegoodguys.com.au? It doesn't have the activate / activated information (i tried going through cashreward website and still the same).

    Tested amazon.com.au and the extension seems to be working fine (with activate button available).

      Some stores don't allow or want the Notifier to be active. TGGs is one of them unfortunately. Use the CR mobile app for better tracking results :)

              @dazzza: Hi dazzza. It's not a matter of being more robust. It's just that the app uses it's own native browser and therefore avoids potential issues that are inherent with desktop browsers such as AdBlockers and other 3rd party plugins such as Honey etc. For seasoned cashback 'professionals', desktop browsers are just fine. Hope this helps :)
