  • Anyone know how the warranty works if any??

  • how crap all sold out..:(

  • well, that's what people trade-in..
what a business. I think there is no warranty.

Looks interesting what they are paying for trade in on old iPad 1 and iPhone 3G etc http://content.ebgames.com.au/iDevice%20Trade/index.html

    • Pretty low compared to other places. About the same as what Apple pays for trade-ins.

      • So, pretty much the same as their game trade-in prices/policies?

Nothing new here really, but at least now we know why they are advertising it so hard now.

  • fark! dammmn! shouldn't have been watching a movie on tightarse tuesday -.-

A second hand/repaired, 2 year old, superseded model phone for $298 is good? Please shoot me.

    • +7

      It's not a phone, it's an "iphone"

    • +4

Apple ha rdware moves so slowly this is not that far behind the current 4s

      • +7

I thought that 'iphone 4s' was just the plural form of iphone 4! :p

    • +1

It is when you can go sell it for more

    • +2

yes, the iphone 4 is quite good.. still using mine from almost 2 years ago.. still going strong.. with stable firmware

even when iphone 5 comes out, iphone 4 refurb won't be priced this good.. what's also good is that the refurbished ones are considered more reliable then the brand new ones (each unit tested vigorously, new ones are tested one per a batch)

  • Gah! Been waiting for a deal like this and I missed out :(

  • kickmiass: i think the concern here is that they are not refurbished by Apple, but "refurbished" by EBGames… whatever that means….

irregardless, the price is good and i managed to order two before they ran out of stock

    • +3

It somehow feels dirty at the thought of EBGames refurbishing them…

  • noticed this might be a good buy seeing the 32 3g is 598

    iphone 4 16GB $360
    iphone 4 32GB $398
    iphone 4S 16GB $448
    iphone 4s 32GB $498

    • +1

      wow $100 more…

      • +1

EB games must have thought with $260 it sold out within minutes why not up the price.

        • Or they were just clearing their crap stock for $260!

        • +1

Unlocked 16GB up further to $398, and SOLD OUT! They'll be past RRP soon.

I just got my phone yesterday and had the following issues with it.

Firstly, the phone will not charge over 36%. I left it charging overnight and the battery will not go up to 100% like normal.

Secondly, the phone will turn off at random times. I have only had the phone for less than 1 day and already it has randomly switched itself off 4 times.

And thirdly, the home button is stuck and the device does not detect when it has been pushed.

So buyer beware, I am currently emailing EB Games as we speak.

    • I hope you get a favourable response from EB Games to address that issue.

I received my phone yesterday and it's been working perfectly.
