I believe steelcase advertises the leap v2 as "leap" as they don't sell old models. I'm a bit disappointed too, not sure whether to hold out for black friday to see if 30% off happens

Surprisingly I think the go is the black henry. Yes, the platinum looks cool but I was just watching a youtube video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dpt2rWn38Z8) which said it is painted plastic (as opposed to being metal). I think I'd prefer the black henry in this case to hide the scratches because I personally would not be forking out this much for a chair very often

Also, what is the weight capacity? I am 6ft1 and 130kgs, so wondering if this chair is decent for someone my size?

We are trialing expanded delivery and hoping to have it ready before too long but unfortunately did not have it quite ready for this sale.
As for weight capacity, Leap is rated up to 136 kg.

Is this not the same chair as the US website?
@Zodinn: In the US there is an additional testing done that is not yet available in APAC. Materially they should be the same but we are not yet able to certify that for non-US markets.

Leap Plus is unfortunately not available in APAC at this moment. Regarding material differences for Leap, we offer the following finishes:
New Black Henry
Medley Grey Brown
Medley Sky Blue
Era Night Owl
Era Pink
Era Blue Nickel
Upholstered Black Montana Leather
New Black, Medley, and Era are all different fabric families, and have slightly different textures and look/feel in addition to the colours.

I think so, but Im undecided still so all options would be nice. If anyone is after one of the ones listed I see no reason not to use this code though
If you can you really should try the seats yourself. I disliked the gesture as the seat base is really quite short and there is quite a bit of thigh overhang (even at the most forward depth position). I guess it is fine if you are a forward leaner but I like to have my thighs fully supported. I am average height at 176cm so tbh test it out yourself at the showroom if you can. Sitting on both chairs back to back I went with leap in the end even though the headrest isn't that great on the leap. Also seat padding is more plush on the leap.
Was hoping the Gesture would go on sale during the 11/11 sale, guess I'll have to wait for a storewide. Keeping my money in the wallet for now
they already have a black friday code live for sitewide, if you visit their showroom they will give it to you. I'm not going to post it here but I think they should just post it since people are just going to wait for it anyway.

I have a Think v1, is there a way I could purchase just the headrest and upholstery (with new cushion)?

Unfortunately the headrest for Think v2 will not fit to Think v1, as the frames are slightly different. We don't offer upholstery services directly, and it is such a rare issue for us that I don't have a 3rd party company handy to recommend. I will ask around though and if we can find something will post it back in here later.
Can someone please confirm if I chose the pickup option from Warriewood NSW whether it comes pre-assembled:
- if yes, would it easily fit through the back of a mid-sized SUV?
- if not, does self-assembly void any warranty (can’t imagine so but their shipping policy seems to imply this for certain unspecified products)

It does come pre-assembled. Most people can fit into their car. If you would really like to self-assemble, please contact our team at [email protected] and we can arrange for you to pick it up in the box.
Assembling by yourself will not void the warranty unless you break something while putting it together. There are a few products that, for safety reasons, (mostly desks), we currently require to be assembled by an installer.
