3.5l Cast Iron Dutch Oven $10 (Was $39) + Delivery ($0 C&C/ in-Store/ OnePass/ $65 Order) @ Kmart

260

Seems like a bargain! Probably not the best out there but a low price. Lots of stock around Melbourne and then varying levels elsewhere. As one of the reviews points out this is for use outdoors on a fire, not really for cooking in an oven at home.

Make casseroles, stews and other hearty meals during outdoor camps with this cast iron dutch oven.

would buy it if it didn't have those legs for outdoors

An angle grinder will fix this quick smart.

Bonus: Give the offcuts to the kids for Christmas. The look on their faces…. Priceless.

No can do… on the site it says Warning: Keep out of reach of children.

  • Preseasoned means that carcinogenic coating stuff right?

    • No it refers to someone that had baked beans and sauerkraut

    • I think they just mean baked on oil seasoning, like the way Lodge does it.
      Should be fine

  • The reviews aren't good

    • There's only two reviews. One is 4 stars and says 'good' one is 3 stars and says 'bad casting' I think it would be okay quality for $10, anything similar would be at least the original $40 price point. Probably good for people who don't camp very often but want to give camp cooking a go.

You can't go wrong with $10 for 5.67kg of cast iron steel ($1.75/kg).

  • When you pass those Home shops at Highpoint, was 799 down to 149. Kmart for 10 bux.
