  • That $200JB GC gives instead of TCL cashback promo?

    • I think so, from last deal TCL rejected claim bought from JB.

  • 65" with 2 cheapest sound bars are cheaper than without the soundbars, but only brings it to almost the Appliance Central price, but it's $100 JB gift card instead of $100 cash back. (Though you get the sound bar)

    $1,652.40 (TS6110 Sound bar)
    $1,592.90 (TS3010 Sound bar)

BUT, if there's none in stock near you (which I'm having) then postage is $73.99

I would say that the TGG deal is better for the 65" ($1276 with $70 storecash and $100 TCL cashback) https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/735962

      • I wish I had seen this at a time that I could get it. You need to call up sales to get this deal. (Feel free to correct me)

        • Or go in-store.
Edit: looks like the party is over.

Got to love sound bars…everyone throwing away their perfect surround sound systems for a lagg, tinny experience.

To be fair. Not everyone have the budget, space, hearing aint so great. So a soundbar suffices for them.

      • I mean they already own a surround sound system and turf it for a sound bar! The Bunnies E-bin and hard rubbish is littered with perfectly working surround sound systems.

    • I guess some will buy bundle and return the soundbars it may workout better, p735 won't be bad for $850 if that works and plus a 100 dollars gift card

  • Vincent on YouTube did a Q&A with some guy from TCL. New model 935, IIRC is a way superior model, though will probably be twice as expensive than this.

VideoPro has it listed for $3880 if you're interested.

I was waiting for it but there's no sign for the major retailers to put it on their shelves anytime soon. I mean, , it's a $4000 TV from TCL, I at least have to see it myself… Plus a massive discounts a couple of days ago, I pulled the trigger on a 75C835 for $1600, can't complain :).

Checked my account this morning the RealCa$h $300 is already there even though the TV is yet to be delivered.

Yeah, thanks for that. Not really in the market for a new tv, happy with my 65 Panasonic OLED, but something bigger is always nice. From the review, the blacks looked very very good, though it was only a quick demo. Side by side between the 2 models was a noticeable difference, though at 2x the price so it should be.

I do think sometime, maybe next year, I will look into buying something bigger and with the advancement of the tech, prices will fall, especially with the second tier brands TCL, Hisesne etc.

      • How’d you get that for $1600!?!

    • I targeted 75" C935 bcuz it has 1000 dimming zones. But the price is triple of 75" c835's discounted price at TGG and TGG doesn't have plan to sale C935 models this year.
So I bought 75" C835 with big cashback.
