Came up on my eBay home page today. Safe to assume its only for those not already subscribed.
Basically need to go to here > click Edit in Marketing subscriptions > and enable "General email promotions".
Voucher issued to account within 3 days.

"This offer entitles Eligible Users to an eBay voucher valued at $10 (“Voucher”) when they enable “General email promotions” in their Communications Preferences (available in their account settings) before the end of the Offer Period. You are entitled to receive 1 Voucher for each 12 month period, which commences on the date you receive an email containing the Voucher, during the Offer Period. For example, if you received a Voucher on 5 November 2022, you will be eligible to receive another Voucher if you successfully meet the conditions on and from 6 November 2023, as long as it is still within the Offer Period."

    Nice this voucher can receive once a year.
    However, I don't have 'Communication Preferences' menu. Only I have 'advertisement Preferences' under Account Preference.🤔

    All those "marketing communication" options have been ticked by me long ago, but I have not been receiving promotional emails from ebay since long.

    I have been manually checking messages in my ebay account. I do get the security related emails from ebay but just not the promotional ones.

    Does anyone know what else I need to do to receive promotional emails? Thanks in advance if you know.

    I received my offer via notification from the mobile app this morning. I’ve also been subscribed for some time so I did the same as ozwolf and un-ticked everything, saved, then went back and resubscribed. I guess I’ll know within the next three days if it worked.

    I turned off the subscriptions this morning (about two hours ago) when I saw this ozb post, and then received an in app notification about 10 mins ago asking me to subscribe for the $10

    Alright folks. So I got the notification via the Ebay App this morning, even though I thought I had all the email subscriptions on (and never turned them off when seeing this post).

    Turns out there is ANOTHER setting, and the notification instructions were quite particular.

    Links to screenshots of Instructions and the 'Buyer Promotions' toggle.

    Open the ebay app (I can't figure out where the options are on desktop):
    1. Open the Menu (Three line button in the top left)
    2. Go to Settings (Second from the bottom)
    3. Go to Emails
    4. Toggle the Buyer Promotions.

    The above is for the Android app.

      That’s similar to what I did, except on the iPhone app you just tap on My eBay at the bottom and scroll to the bottom to access. the Settings menu. All my Buyer Promotions options were already enabled, so I turned them off and then back on again.

    1. Launch ebay app, tap on my ebay (second from bottom left)
    2. Go to Settings (last option when you scroll down at the bottom)
    3. Go to Emails (5th option from top)
    4. Toggle the Buyer Promotions.

    Just received the $10 off 30 spend voucher (voucher T&C's link back to the email communications). Voucher starts with HIT.

    Looks like it has a 3 month expiry. Mine expires 12th of Feb, 2023.
