      That's actually not bad

    • Do u need 1000w tho or have a 4090?

    • Thanks @videoman
      :D

Just noticed an Amazon review that the 750W variant comes with a label stating "'125W TDP CPU. Support only CPU up to TDP 125W, do not overclock'. "

Does anyone know if the 850W and 1000W variants have similar restrictions?

    • +2

As long as it's supplying the power it's meant to over the CPU EPS cable then ignore the sticker in my view. If they denied a warranty claim consumer affairs would sort them out, it's a nonsensical restriction.

Is this a good PSU or should I get the Corsair RM850x? Was advised to not skimp out on the PSU.

I use Cybernetics' ratings to determine if a PSU is good. The ratings for this PSU good: https://www.cybenetics.com/index.php?option=database&params=…

25.44 decibels is very quiet, the efficiency meets the label, and it has a 10 year warranty

Came here just to post that site

Such a great site for PSU shopping

Awesome, thanks for putting my mind at ease. Buying!

At 230V it changes to 31.05db?

        • True, i always forget to change the table just because most reviews i compare to are American

As mentioned by OP, Seasonic is the OEM. They would be viewed as the most respected PSU manufacture. 10 year warranty would also indicate that it's a decent PSU.

  • Out of stock? Link is only showing 1000w and 750w.

    • +1

When I bought it 40 min ago it said there were 3 left in stock, so most likely.

      • Looks like still 1 left in stock now

  • Got one of 1000w, thank OP.

FYI the 1000w model has 3 of 6+2pin for pcie
    - which wouldn't really matter unless you think of rtx4090.

    • Even 850W came with 3 * 8pin PCI cables and 2 EPS cables (all 5 sockets are same and can be used for either PCIE or EPS). I wanted another PCIE cable as I only use 1 EPS cable and they sent me extra PCIE cables (had to pay shipping)

  • oops! got this for $148 delivered from previous MWAVE deal, good PSU
