      All the Xiaomi phones i've bought for myself and family members have been great. Mechanically tough and they pack heaps of specs into a small price.
      The Redmi Note 11 was recently on ozb for $170. You're getting a very decent phone for the money there.

      I kept getting an error popup for the past hour: "Your selection is either incomplete or not in stock. Please be sure to supply a value for each attribute or consider a different combination of values."
      Now the "Buy Now" button has vanished. I'll be miffed if they were in stock and I couldn't get it!

      From Sydney at 10:42am, have this model and knew this price was a steal, so ordered for a xmas present, added to cart, signed into TGG account, paid using PayPal, got email "Your order has been confirmed. We'll send tracking information via email and SMS once your order is on the way" Current status says "Awaiting Picking", but who knows they might still cancel and refund, but that better come with a goodwill voucher.
      This $10 case has been magic and protected the phone well.

    Wow what a shocking experience! As far as I'm concerned TGG has thoroughly earnt their 1.2 star rating on Productreview. If I don't get the refund next week I think I'll just issue a chargeback. Anyone know if a chargeback or a Paypal dispute is the better way to go?

    Ordered for delivery to Western Sydney suburb with Australia Post.
    Access the order directly clicking from my page and it comes up as pickup in Melbourne.
    Access the order through Online orders then click on it and it comes up with the correct address.
    Notified them of this on chat and assured it was ordered for delivery.

    Next day…(day I'm writing this).

    Went on backorder with no notification.
    Enquired on chat and was told by "John-Luke" it was oversold and I'd be given a refund in 3-5 business days. Asked to cancel it on the same chat and was told I couldn't because oversold items couldn't be cancelled and that it would be cancelled in 3-5 business days. Asked if I could go back and use the menus to cancel and told no. Said I'd issue a chargeback if they refused to cancel and was told I was within my rights to do that then immediately cut off and sent to automated feedback. While I was going back through the chat menus to cancel the order in an automated way, which went through and told me the order had been cancelled and I'd get a refund in 1-3 business days, I also got an email from John-Luke saying the order had been cancelled and the refund would be processed in 3-5 business days. (But he had said he couldn't do that, so is it policy to lie to stall?!?)

    At least it is $20 proper store credit, and not a voucher with minimum spend. I'm disappointed, but (profanity)-ups happen in any business, and it is a decent apology.

    edit: Oh, fudge it ( is that OK Scotty?) the credit expires in 30 days and multiple caveats. Now I'm mad again.

    And now the website is broken. Goes on a redirect loop on the login capture, even when I wipe the cache. Screw AJAX.

    For those who don't know what to spend their $20 credits on, I would recommend the JBL Tune 500 Wired On Ear Headphones - $19 or a Fire TV Lite - $29.50.

    The Fire TV Lite is comparable to the Fire TV Stick (3rd gen) in term of speed. Suitable for none demanding users. The Fire TV 4K Max is worth the $30 out of pocket if you need a fast streaming stick.

    I purchased this product on the 16/11. I received an email of confirmation of order and another stating 'we are preparing your order' for Toll delivery with a track my order box.
    On the 18/11 I received another email, which went to my 'promotions' box, labelled order update. This was to advise me my order had been cancelled and they have begun to process my refund which usually occurs within 3-5 working days 🙄
    After repeated attempts to call, email, live chat and help desk enquiries (for a week) i am still awaiting my refund.
    I resorted to contacting my bank and requesting a dispute for the refund of my money which was $155 (including $18 for delivery).
    I will not be purchasing any products from The Good Guys in the future.
    I hope this helps others who are in the same position.
