  • I have it. Whenever it goes to the base to empty itself a red light starts blinking complaining that the base bag si full,

Mine did that for the first week. Now it’s perfect. Just reseat the bag.

      • I usually do that every time to get rid of that blinking led but then it happens again.

  • Good vacuum, great for the price. It can’t do multiple floors however, so if that’s something you’re after you’d want something else

    • I think it can if you use the restore map function.

      • Oh that’s interesting. That had completely skipped my mind. Will try that out!

  • do you know if it works in carpet?

    • The vacuum finds it hard to operate within the fibers of the carpet itself. Though it seems to work well on carpet.

  • Have the Roidmi eve plus (believe its the exact clone of this) and have used it for the last year with zero issues. Picked it up off Kogan for a similar price.
Has automatic fan speed variation for different surfaces.

    Strongly recommend.

I got one a year ago

Runs 5 out of 7 days

Works well on tiles and carpets

I’ve setup exclusion zones for my rugs and showers as it would either get stuck getting onto the rug or off it, or would get stuck inside the shower.

The mopping function is very meh, I’ve maybe used it 10 times.

It’s a good vacuum though, however once a month I still do a massive house vacuum and mop with a proper vacc and mop/bucket

What's the warranty period on these, nothing on Amazon

    • Also interested to hear this

  • Anyone know what happened to the Viomi model?

  • Cheaper last year

    • Everything was cheaper last year.

  • This or deebot n8+?

I want to give a different opinion

I have this, and I have also had the S5 Max

If I did it again, I would buy the S5 Max again (didn't because the price remains more than what it was two years ago)

    The issues with this are-

Software is not great. Poor tbh. How it works is it maps the whole room, then automatically separates rooms. However took me a few goes to get it to automatically set the rooms which was frustrating. It doesn't even separate the rooms well (but no way I'm going to remove/refresh after all the effort to get it working in the first place). You can't manually adjust the rooms. You can't individualise the suction/mopping amount etc for each room.

If you have a double story home, it's even more of an issue. It doesn't save upstairs or downstairs as two different maps so to speak. It saves every run. So you have to flick through each saved run to find the last upstairs or downstairs, then put that 'on'

Expelling rubbish is hit and miss- have good days and bad. As others have mentioned occasional errors when there arent any. It is also very loud, and head turning. Perhaps not surprising, but worth knowing about. We joke about the aeroplane taking off.

The vacuum has the standard suction power for price range, but it sucks the rubbish into only a portion of the capacity. Think of the capacity as rhomboid shape, and sucks into a square shape

If they upgraded the software would improve the unit 80%

Pros are that they provide some extra parts
