  • have this 120mm table top due to space as well from march 2022 promo … good deal and quality … even paid more than this price

  • Fantastic price got mine for 382 during peak wfh period and very happy with it 👍

  • very good deal. bought early this year via kogan but happy with quality so far.

  • Not a bad deal, OP. Very tempted. You had me at dual motors.

Is the table top decent? Folks here usually recommend the ones from IKEA.

  • Got one! Thanks OP

  • +1

Has anyone used this but changed the tabletop? The images suggest up to 160 wide but generally speaking I need a ~180 wide 750-800 deep.

Currently using an ikea karlby tabletop with 2 drawers/some legs. but this looks like a good deal.. (actually wondering if I could even swap the Karlby onto this.. It's not as deep but is wider).

    • Can't see an issue with replacing the table top; just make sure it's within the total weight threshold, but even with that, there will be at least 20-30% tolerance. I say go for it.

      • Yeah true. the Karlby is quite heavy, ive got a mini itx pc + 2 monitors + studio speakers. I'd likely be within but talked with the better half anyway and she convinced me to just get the one I want ha! Not the ozb way… (likely ascent wildwood omnidesk 180w)

    • +1

I bought the 120kg frame and currently have a 1800 x 900 x 32 slab of pine from bunnings sitting on it. No issue what so ever and looks considerably better than the top from them if you stain and clear it. Slab weighs about 30kg and have another 30kg of gear on it.

      • Which one did you get from Bunnings?

  • +1

Great share. Do you think this will fit a 34 inch wide curve monitor and a standard 27 inch monitor together? Worried the thickness of the desk isn't enough for 2 monitor arms.

    • +2

      150 x75cm tabletop. You'll be fine.

    • +2

I got 2 x 27inch monitor along with 13-inch laptop in between on my 120cm desk.

    • +1

I've got basically that and it's fine. iMac at a 45º-ish angle on one side and curved 34" on a monitor arm in the middle. I have their 120KG desk but I assume the tops are basically the same.

  • +1

Nice dual motor what is its top speed?

    • +3

      Or the range?

    • +3

I've got one of these when they were on special for the frame only and put a 150cm top on it that I bought at Officeworks. The full range displayed on the sensor is 70cm-120cm, and it takes just on 30 seconds to go from bottom to top. That's with a laptop, 2x 24" screens, a set of arms, a label printer, and a collection of detritus that's accumulated.

      • Thank you for details.

      • -3

Yeah but what happens when the power goes out? Is the table just stuck there? What do you do then?

Think I'll just stick with my non-standing desk.

        • +5

That is why I am using a type writer instead of a computer.

        • S'ok - perfectly valid question. There are many valid reasons for wanting or needing one, and even if you were fully off-grid there are still options for you. As an example, Officeworks has a range of manually-operated desktop risers or non-electric standing desks.

  • Thanks op. Bought one!

    • The code BFX30 says invalid and the price for me is 405. Did you got for 284?

      • you need to be a Ebay Plus user I think

  • +6

Really wish these were suitable for people over 6ft.. max height of 113cm is a bit low

    • +1

Yeah this is significantly lower compared to desky, updown desk and omnidesk 124-126cm and even artiss standing desk 122cm

      • +1

So no go for those over 6ft?

        • +1

Im in the market at the moment waiting to move house and then buy one of these options, but I wont buy this one since finding its max height is that. 6'3"

    • +2

Agree, was about to pull the trigger, however, that max height is just too low for those of us 6ft and over.

Ideally around 125-127cm height for someone over 6ft.

    • 120cm would be a sweet spot, any recommendations/deals on those desks?

    • +4

I'm 6.3 and use mine at 111-113cm depending on the table top. People of the same height will have varying torso to leg ratios, and differing lengths between their shoulders and elbows. If you're tall like us and have never used a standing desk before, I recommend trying one out at office works and measuring the height that feels comfortable for you. Never know, 113cm could be the Goldilocks height for you.

    • -6

For full height adjustment and reasonable stability, you need legs that are three telescoping sections. This one is only two telescoping sections — not a good deal. This difference is not usually clear in the descriptions, but can be seen quickly in the photos when going through multiple cheap eBay standing desk options.

  • Awesome just bought one! Anyone have any recommendations for cable management underneath the desk?

  • any deal for the frame-only model?

    • +1

try their website? i got a wheel coupon: J0JSNR - $60 off on this agile frame, but not what i m looking for. and you may try if works.

    • The XZIP15 code is valid on the frame-only listing (https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/203191698884), but you'll only save $10 over this one with the top.

      • Yeah. Not worth it. I already have a kitchen bemch top and need to make it a standing desk

  • Thanks OP. Got one. Was about to buy Ikea one. Hope this is better.

  • Thanks OP!!!

  • Is anyone able to purchase 2 ?

    • Didn't work for me. It says 1 per account.

  • Is this only for ebay plus members? As I can see 405$ even after applying the code BFX30 without eBay plus

  • Bought one, great deal! Thanks OP!

  • Bought one, thanks OP!
100+ sold in an hour :)

  • 75cm is too short. Can you replace the table top with something like https://www.bunnings.com.au/1800-x-900mm-25mm-panel-melamine…?

    • +2

Suitable for desktop from from 1200-1600mm long and 600-800mm wide.
One of the image have these details

      • ty

      • Can you just simply buy bunnings top and replace it?

        • +1

you need to drill new holes and install it yourself.

  • is the frame adjustable to go bigger with a bigger table top?

    • Yes, the frame has some adjustment sideways to accommodate various widths of desktop. If you scroll through the images in the eBay listing you'll see one with the measurements.

  • Want another one but 120cm. Unfortunately there's no good offer.

  • Wasn't going to get one but found I had a $4.99 eBay Plus offer so I may as well, cheers :)

  • +2

I got the 1500mm desk back in March and rate the quality highly
Legs and frame are super sturdy

  • Can anyone who has this comment on which frame colour looks better, white or black?

    • I will let you know once I receive it on the 24th! Jokes aside, this is personal preference. I choose black to match the base of my chair.

      • +1

Same with me. I have chosen Black frame to go with wallnut top.

    • I personally chose Oak + White for the Scandinavian look (aka Ikea haha) to match other furniture in my room. In my opinion, Black would only really suit the Walnut, if going for the darker tones.

Otherwise White + White. Or Oak/Walnut + White. Although Walnut + White has a bit more contrast. I don't think you want to necessarily draw attention to the legs.

      • 100% agree, I was at the same thought pattern and it was a "dark theme" with black/Walnut/Walunt or "light theme" with white/ Oak.

  • this is a great desk and I've been loving it for 12+ months now. I think i paid around $400..

  • Anyone having used this; would this height be good for someone who's 6ft?

  • +1

    Thanks OP, bought the Blk/Oak

Also check if you have the Special gift card offer via CBA. Buy special super shopper, convert to eBay via Shopback for extra saving

  • Hello, anybody else getting "To apply this code, you need to be an eBay Plus member." ?

"Dual Motorised Electric Desk 80kg, 150cm Top $284.13 Delivered eBay Plus @ Lazy Maisons eBay"

      • gotcha, thanks for that!

    • I actually got an offer banner for eBay plus for 5$ per year first year, and got a 20$ voucher as well

  • +1

I recently got one on Mydeal site for $249 delivered after a discount code took off $23, for a 140x60. We just put it together and it is actually really good. Worth checking out if anyone needs it slightly longer
It was black table top with metal legs

    • This one is 150x75

      • Oh lol i just realised that i said longer not cheaper I'm in lala land

  • Out of stock? Cant seem to order anymore

    • +1

still in stock and I guess 1 per account.

      • +1

Managed to get it to work. Thanks OP for the find.

      • got it thx

  • +1

Any idea how long this promo will be available for ?

    • BFX30 code exp Nov 21
But you never know when these will sell out

  • Why do a lot of these standing desks have the same dual motor hardware but the control panel slightly different?

  • Anyone has some thoughts on the motor power 80kg vs 120kg version? It says 25mm/s vs 36mm/s but I'm not sure how significant that is and if there's other difference.

    • +2

25mm/s will be fine unless you're adjusting it constantly. If you are adjusting it through the full travel of 440mm that means it will take 17 seconds vs. 13 seconds. And unless you're lifting a human, 80kg vs. 120kg is irrelevant, everything on my desk wouldn't be more than 20kg.

  • I was on two minds about buying the Omnidesk ascent - looks like this ones got good reviews and can't beat the price. Just ordered one!

    • Ugh I can't bring myself to submit to the ozb way.. I really do want that omnidesk ascent wildwood..

      Curious how it goes!

  • If space is an issue but Office Works Matrix electric sit/stand desk $399 for the 120cm version. Have been using it for a while and loving it.
I wish I can find smaller length and width standing desks.

  • +2

Thanks OP. Under $300 so can write off tax as well.
