Has anyone bought giftcards from Woolworths for this today and know how faster they're coming right now?

    • Did you try it? Keen to give a go, but don't necessarily want to be stuck with the vouchers.

I have not, also didn't want to be stuck with them if what I want goes oos or they don't work

    • I did it yesterday, bought the excact amount needed in woolies e-giftcards, took a couple of minutes to arrive in email. Chose zip for payment method, entered XZIP15, then entered the giftcards pin. Checked out fine, got the tracking number today. Didn't need a zip account.

      • Thanks! Unfortunately the thing I want to apply has been price jacked in the mean time, so I'll be waiting for another sale in the next week.

  • I keep getting "cannot apply promo code" even after seleting zip as payment method. Am I doing something wrong?

    • I'm getting " 'ebay' links are blocked" message during zip payment…donno why

  • Sapphire PULSE AMD Radeon RX 6700 10GB.
Will this one be a big upgrade from a 1070 8gb? haha

    • It's a decent upgrade. I was using a rx 6600xt for a while but rma in it right now and went back to gtx 1070 the difference is like 10% but for a rx 6700 I'd say 20% more perf

Is the comparison AMD vs Nvidia still valid in 2022? I currently using RX 5700 so thinking of upgrading to next gen for HDMi 2.1 (currently max out at 4:2:2 @120hz)

Will be looking to play games like COD MW2, Horizon FW & GOW Rag (when it lands in PC).

Been hearing nvidia provides better visuals due to RT capabilities (i dont game competitively so dont care about high fps) but has AMD caught up in this space?

    • With regard to RT, not really. Maybe RDNA3 will be better on that front. For raster, though, they're very competitive. Personally I think most games don't really leverage RT enough to warrant the performance disparity let alone the price premium Nvidia demands but that's something you have to decide on. There are a few games which look amazing with it turned on and it should keep getting better (though I have no idea if that will happen soon enough to warrant consideration in my next GPU purchase).

  • Can we expect the rx 6700 xt at any cheaper prices on black friday or as this as good as its gonna get

Will tell you the day after BF

        That'll work

  • Centrecom jacked their pre-coupon price of 6700 non XT to $549 now, $466.65 after coupon

    • Thanks for the report, deal updated

  • Is the raise the game code in the box or do they send it via e-mail after shipping?

    • The latter

Deal updated with final sales stats, 119 cards sold totaling $66K excluding Zip discounts and shipping fees

To the retailers monitoring this thread (hello Centrecom), if you want to move some product, offer some attractive deals on or before BF for 6700 XT, 6800 and 6800 XT cards

If the pricing does not fit into the ATL pricing table, don't bother

    • +1

It would be great to get that best price table with every upcoming GPU deal. So everyone knows if it's an actual deal. Really appreciate the effort you put into it and it's good to see weak sales.

  • Which one for $300-400 would be the best bang for a buck with 5600G/32GB RAM ?

  • Deal for ASUS 6650 XT @ US$170 just went live, that's AU$250 so after GST and Australia tax, that's AU$299

All the cards on the ATL are about to shift down 1 level

    • Where's that? Newegg?

      • Yes Newegg

ASUS doing a 50%+ cashback meaning the AIB's - not the retailers - are taking the hit

        • Have a link?

        • Can't find it either. A link would be great.

  • Lots of reports of being scammed on that Amazon RX 6900 XT deal for $909.78. Probably should revise the ATL on this model to $999 which several local retailers have offered.
