  This is what I'd pay for a laptop with RTX 3060 and 16GB DDR4 assuming the other specs are at least decent or quite good/good build quality. A laptop with a 3050 I'd pay no more than say $1100 (I think I saw a deal here with that price some time lately).

      For what it's worth, I have a ThinkPad that's 8 years old and still going strong. Just bout a second hand ThinkPad as well. 4 years old, but feels like new.

      I find regardless of the brand, you get what you pay for.
