Probably not. Many JB's still have store-exclusive packs, gathering dust on shelves with full prices.
I actually bought the Prey gift pack a few months ago for $1. So I would know this better than anyone.
Well, I take that back.
I based it off my observations of Watch Dogs 2 and Doom Eternal some time ago.

That Prey gift pack had been sitting in one of the JB Hifis near my workplace evidently since 2017. It's too much of an exception to matter to others.
@tallkid123: Sure is, the exclusive special edition of Days Gone alongside the special edition of the last of us part II are still sitting at full price.
The steel book edition of The Last Guardian spend many years at the full price of $99, it only decreased to $34 a few months ago.
But, I do hope that this game gets the same price for the gift pack edition.

Need the PC version for this price so I can experience this game with Ray Tracing maxed and use the VR mod
Can I recommend if you also have a ps5 to go with that version (or wait for it to come to gamepass and play on a series s/x if you have one of those). The game itself is solid, I wouldn't say great, but a good time all the same. But the pc version has frequent shader compilation stutter. It will only stop doing this once you have seen all the content at least once (and thus you'll likely be done with the game), as a result I do recommend people go for the console version (this is unreal engine 4 shudder compilation, so the only fix will be the developer patching in preloading the shader cache for pc which doesn't seem likely). :(
VR would be fun for this game, but the core was hurt very badly by the stutter. I wouldn't like to experience that issue in vr either.
Bought the PC version from JB for $9 using the $10 perks voucher. Just a heads up in case anyone is curious about the performance of the PC version of this game. I didn't encounter any stuttering issues running on my RTX 4080 with max settings including ray tracing, I've been consistently getting above 120fps at 4K running in DLSS Quality mode. According to the steam page, the game has had a quite a few updates since release so maybe the issues were patched up.
It also supports the adaptive triggers and haptic feedback when played with a DualSense controller over a wired connection. As for the game itself, I'm just an hour into it and the game hasn't grabbed me yet but I'm a big fan of the Tokyo setting as well as Mikami so will persist and hope it hooks me at some point.
Unless the game was patched (which it does not appear to have been) you will have had shader caching stutter. This isn't something that a powerful pc can overcome, it needs the shaders to come in the download or allow for them to be preloaded or you will stutter, I'm tired of people pretending otherwise. The issue has gotten really bad recently with unreal engine games on pc.
@GabiB: Well I'm basing it on my experience of actually playing the game and I've experienced no stuttering so far. I've also set texture streaming to high instead of auto or low (quite a few people mention in the forums that setting it to auto resolved the stuttering issue for them).
The game has had seven updates since release (https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/1475810) with the last one being in October and some of the patch notes state 'PC performance improvements' so who knows, maybe it was resolved through a patch like SackBoy's PC release was recently.
I agree that there are UE games on PC that stutter but it doesn't appear to be an issue on my setup with this game.
