White version is $2 cheaper but for an all black build this is a no brainer and $2 isn't important anyway.

    Thanks for sharing pennies.

    • +2

Thank you! I saw the white one but didn't put it in the OP for some reason. Are they both the same model, just different colours?

      • +4

Same model, different colours. White was originally China exclusive for a period of time.

Ofc you're an expert in this area :)

@I Smell Pennies: I could tag a lot of people who accused me of posting fake Razer years ago when that was the case.

    thanks, bought one for work

Main difference is the size of your hands I think. The mini is well, much smaller and suits people with smaller hands

            @I Smell Pennies:

and suits people with smaller hands

You know what they say about people with small hands?

            • +2

              @jv: Small gloves

Me too. So I can be that nerd with the glowing mouse at work.

Please Amazon, I need a Viper Ultimate

  • +1

Would this be good to use as a regular mouse (No gaming) ?
    Thanks

    • +7

      More than perfect I think

      • +4

        Thanks

    • +2

As smell pennies suggested, yes it should be great for regular use. Gaming mouse generally try to provide a comfortable feeling with some added extra or more premium features as opposed to regular office mice :)

Requested price difference in credits and got told to just return and order again… Damn

    • +1

Aww bummer. Some agents are good and some just tell you this. I've never been failed a request in regards to the item dropping in price, and most often they even round up a few dollars

      • +4

Yeah haven't had an issue before this either but this time I got 400 word essay sent to my email explaining why they don't refund price differences lol. You win some, you lose some /shrug

Here's the email in case anyone happens to be curious:

That is one hell of an essay they scripted, lol

Amazon now doesn't offer a price match guarantee

They always tell me this then say "for this one time exception I will provide a $x promo credit"

You win some, you lose some /shrug

          Sadly :(

        • Yeah got the same essay in live chat. Damn.

been waiting for these deals to get something to use at the office, whats the verdict on using gaming mice compared to those productivity mice like logitech m720?

    • Gaming mice generally have better and/or more features as opposed to productivity mice, stuff like very high DPI (i had a couple gaming mice in my life but never used over 1000 anyway) dpi profiles, extra buttons (still useful for productivity but do you need 2 buttons on each side?), RGB - unless u prefer that and so on.

Honestly I would just go with whats cheap but is at least quite comfortable and built well. Razer's Deathadder series are known for having a great feel.

  • -1

The essential is a low-end gaming mouse. (Only the 'essentials') It's nothing like $95 retail. https://www.jbhifi.com.au/products/razer-deathadder-essentia… JB has it as $39 standard. (And $24 as well right now)

    RRP is AUD$49.95, not $94.95 https://www.razer.com/au-en/gaming-mice/razer-deathadder-ess…

    • +1

Doesnt change the fact that its a good price for a decent mouse.

      • -2

Exactly, I’m not sure I understand if this neg is done correctly or not. Forgetting the RRP, it’s still cheap as you said. Based on the comment I’m sure OP will still neg it even if it was $5

Looking at the profile, AngoraFish loves negging people

    • I'm going to have to agree with this neg due to the misleading name Deathadder being attributed to this mouse when it is not a Deathadder 'V2' I now see is what I believed this was. I bought one for $29 last week thinking it was the normal deathadder gaming mouse, looks like I was tricked.

Looks like the real deathadder is on sale for 42 down from 139.

Got one for work, now getting one for home

  • +1

    Got one, thanks :)

  • Just arrived, my first razer mouse.

Been using Logitech mouses for ages now, just started using the razer mouse and the first thing I noticed is the placement of the scroll feels a bit weird, for my middle finger to me on the scroll, forces my 3rd finger to be on the right click button. For all other mouses I've used I can easily put my middle finger on the scroll while my 3rd finger stilll grips the side of the mouse. Anyone else have this issue? or maybe the mouse is too big for my hands
