Tubi has full match replays of all FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ matches available for free. Sign up to stream every match on your favorite device

Yes the world cup is available live and free on SBS, but I found the SBS on demand quality lacking. This could be a good option to watch full replays in 4K, extended highlights (~10mins), or if really short on time 90' in 90" ( that's 90 seconds!) highlights. Replays available 30mins after game ends.

Note: Requires US VPN for world cup content.
You will have to put up with some awful American commentary though!

Tubi has a dedicated world cup channel with shows and live programs. Lots of other channels too. Worked well for me on phone with Nord VPN, but didn't get it to work on google TV. Might need to play around with it some more. Hope this helps someone.

  NordVPN servers 96xx didn't give me much luck.
  Server 85xx worked.

  If you see "Live TV" tab at the bottom then you',re in the money

      It's random but if you scroll down to countries and click the 3 dots next to USA you can filter down into cities.

      Top 2, San fran and LA connect to 8xxx servers often.

    Android app doesn't seem to have quality select?

    The stream says 4k ready, so assume it will stream at highest available based on bandwidth.

    Stream is better than SBSoD which says 720p

      Yeah I saw the 4K ready but I notice it's quickly removing the higher res. Might have to play around with the server to get the higher res

      How can I know that on phone app?
      I don't install tubi on my tv yet, so I tested on my smart phone and it's not able to select video quality. Just can data saver option on/off.

        I'm watching on desktop. It says 4K Ready on the description but when I click play, I only see the lower res. Sigh

          Android app also says 4k ready but my phone resolution is not support 4k…😅

  Meh. I’m not interested in the WC this time. Seems like FIFA corruption is out of hand.

  I guess this is a good deal if you can watch for free. Although tubitv are paying for it somehow. Got ads?

    FIFA corruption doesn't affect how teams play so is kind of a mute point. You may however be avoiding all soccer that is linked to FIFA on principle which of course is your option.

    If you are connect on right VPN server then the world cup options and live tv channels etc come up.

  Australian TUBI can often be downloaded using yt-dlp or a GUI for the same. Might work for US TUBI.

  Try Youtube-DLG or Tartube front ends.

  Surfshark to LA working for me on Chromecast Google TV 4K as long as the VPN is active when the app is first booted.

  Still can't get BBC iPlayer to work on the TV though, which I think would be better for the games they cover…
