Ooo brandless lithium batteries from a jewellery store! This is going to end great!

Exactly - decided to go on the side of caution and get the VoltX 120Ah from Outbax for $480 after the BF 22% off code.

        Voltx good?

      • +1

        doesnt mean anything really

I got this from them year ago, all good.

Not saying yours isn't good, but more why it's not as relevant to others:
        - 1 result from 1 sample, even on a horrific 20% failure rate, yours is likely to be fine
        - being brandless, possibly means what you got a year ago is different to what someone would get now

    • brandless lithium batteries from a jewellery store!

I'm fairly sure this is Outbax Camping on a different account, they seem to have a few…

  • Anyone using it? Thought?

    • It is under bonnet in my car for a year, no issues. But I have a good charger, Redarc 1240D

      • Which one you using? Voltx or the one advertised?

        • This one. Mine had green stickers though.

  • That's really good! Thanks Op!

To anyone doubting, just buy it and test it. Paypay and eBay always side with buyer if anything goes wrong.

    • Not until it starts catching fire and burn down the whole house.

Our neighbour had a house fire recently which was caused by a charging e-scooter.

This is a LiFePO4 battery, they're relatively safe compared to the Li-ion batteries used in e-bikes and e-scooters…

(I'm not vouching for this battery though, it's too cheap to be reasonable quality IMO, you get what you pay for…. but I doubt it's much of a fire risk)

Same eBay listing was $254 a little over a month ago.

yeh they price jack like crazy because of the coupon

  • I have this exact battery… charged with a Victron charger, with bluetooth etc and it put 104ah back in after I had more or less ran it flat. For the price, these are brilliant!
