I bought these when only 1080p version was available as a set of three. It has been working alright and is a good peace of mind. No ongoing subscription is even better. I needed another one to cover a different spot so got the add-on camera.

The set of 3 with homebase is also on sale for Black Friday for $839 (was $1049)

Good guys have 20% off via their website for all of Eufy at the moment!

TCN Home gift cards can be redeemed at the Good Guys and they're currently 15% off at Coles (if you can get them). Aldi has them for 10% off, along with Amazon gift cards (again, if you can get them).

Do these still get everything deleted by holding the button?

Unfortunately, yes. This YouTuber tested it

That defeats the purpose of having one really.
I know ring needs an annual subscription but if they steal the camera, at least i keep the recordings

Eufy must be banking on the average eshay not being savvy enough to know this. How they think it's okay to continue building this exploit into a new generation of products baffles me

A security researcher found that unencrypted images and facial recognition data from Eufy cameras were being uploaded to the cloud despite Eufy marketing them as no cloud involved. Here is Linus Tech Tips take on it.

This comes after other privacy and security breaches. This security company does not take security seriously.

    Signed,
    A disappointed Eufy customer.

Not only do they not take security seriously, by uploading footage to the cloud despite explicit claims that they don't, Eufy are consciously deceiving consumers.

      This is huge.
